Chapter 58: My Heart Is Shattered
Sometimes pain can give you the happiness and sometimes happiness can give you the pain. It's depend on people's perspective.
Sometimes people's heart wants something that was forbidden for them but they wanted to keep it because the things bring happiness in their life and it doesn't matter if the things causes pain to them.
Nandini exactly feeling the same. She tried to avoid the happiness in pain but her heart always found it's peace in that pain. She tried to hurt him but yet she got the pain.
Times never waited for anything. Her acceptance was too late when she decided to forgive him. Her stubbornness ruined her happiness.
And even she is also ruined the happiness for the child which is growing in her stomach.
She noticed the every upbringings in his life.. his ferociousness to his kindness and yet she kept waiting.
Nandini crying silently at her stupidity. Laying on the hospital bed and holding her stomach gently she cried. She knew what she had done.. if she accepted his apology then it might not happen.
Nandini cried and cried.
She cried for her love which she can't even confess to him. A love that he was dying for the past few months. A love that can bring the happiness in their life. But her ego was so big that she couldn't see that.
She knew that he caused her a pain but yet he is the one who healed her pain. How can she reject that man?
"How could i reject him..? i know he is the person who destroyed me but he was the person who rebuild me. How could i did this to him.?" she scolded herself and a tears fallen from her eyes.
She wiped her tears and tried to stand up but couldn't able to do that because of her weakness. She laid down and tried to compose herself.
And praying silently for Manik; For her love.
"Please Manik don't leave me. I'm sorry. Please don't leave me now. I was stupid not to understand my heart. Please don't leave me." She prayed and slowly drifted into sleep.
When Nandini is struggling with her inner pain, the doctor came to Manik's family and informed about the good news.
There is some point when a certain joy makes your day better and give you hope.
Doctor's word give them a little happiness after that deadly encounters they face. They couldn't believe what they are hearing.
"They are..?" this time Aliya asked as she holding her daughter tightly. She looks little pale but she tried to hide her emotion and make a face that no one can read.
"Yes. They are! She is going to be a mother Mrs. Malhotra." Doctor said with an amusement.
"Oh god Bless her. How's the baby doctor and how many weeks?" Devyani asked worriedly.
