Chapter 2 - Oki

3 days has passed by since I sent my work to Sky through email and I'm just here playing playing Adventure Quest on my netbook while humming.

'Oh come on... that's just like one bar left before I become level 40!'

I thought as I was obviously annoyed and went to another place of the game to fight off a stronger monster.

"...Yeah! I know right..! I don't get it as to why Curse Girl wouldn't raise her head up to look at us! It's almost like an insult..!..."

I overhead one of the older girls chatter outside of my room.

Pouting angrily , I killed one monster and leveled up to 40 while mumbling , "....you fwace is an inswult..."

*Ping ping!*

I hide the the tab of my game and see a message sent in my yahoo email.

Tilting my head to the side , making my overgrown , long black hair slide off my shoulders , and my bangs almost covering my right eye , I clicked on it and my eyes widen.

*In the message*

Heya!

I watched the edited video , which YOU did by the way , and I am completely awestruck as to how you did that! Even our editors are completely amazed as to how you edited it.

So what I'm trying to say is; I would like to have you join Sky Media Offices !

I bet our editors could learn from you and even our grumpy editor Max would! I would assume that you're a professional. Maybe older than me.

'Oh , only if they knew that they sent a message to an 8 years old little girl with no one by her side and is nicknamed as the 'Cursed Girl'' , I thought while smiling.

So please meet me at Starbucks , nearby the purple colored building which I would assume as The Orphanage , tomorrow , 9 A.M. sharp.

'9 A.M huh? At least it's near the Orphanage.'

I simply thought as I brought up my legs , and hugged them near my chest , resting my chin on top of my knees staring at the screen of my netbook , between the message and the 'Reply' button.

Sighing softly yet happily , I smiled a little and clicked on the reply button and typed my answer.

And you wanna know what my answer was?

"Oki"

Then I signed out of my yahoo and returned to playing Adventure Quest and saw so many challenge requests from random people.

'GAH!'

I shrieked mentally as I fell of my chair head first , making me see my room upside down.

Why life? Just why?
