Chapter 18

-Jasmines POV-

I went back to my room to get ready. When I walked in, Michael was staring at his phone smiling.

"Who's the girl?" I asked casually while pulling out some clothes.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

"Your smiling at your phone like an idiot. Who's the girl?" I asked again.

"There is no girl." He replied.

"Then why are you smiling?" I asked.

"Um... Well..." He sighed. "Fine. I'm smiling because Ashton texted me saying... That you were in a good mood! Yeah, that's what he said." He stuttered over his words.

"Oh, okay." I said while waking into the bathroom to get dressed. I am in a good mood, honestly. It's probably because she hasn't bothered me all morning.

I heard the other 3 boys enter and turn on the TV. I could tell they were watching Gravity Falls, because I could hear the theme song.

As soon as I finished getting dressed I heard an ear piercing scream and some other yelling. I ran out of the room to see what hell happened.

"What's going on? Is someone hurt?" I yelled. I ran to the living room area to see the guys all the guys squished into the corner, heavily breathing with panicked looks on their faces.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"THERES A FUCKING SPIDER OVER THERE ON THE FLOOR!!!" Ashton yelled.

"Are you kidding me?" I asked while walking towards where they were all looking.

"NO DONT GO OVER THERE ITS GONNA EAT YOUR FACE OFF!!!" Calum warned.

"It's just a spider. Chill out!" I said. I grabbed a shoe and smashed it before they could yell at me for getting close to it again.

"How did you do that!?!?!!" Luke sighed.

"I grabbed a shoe, walked up to the spider and hit it with the shoe I picked up earlier!" I responded sarcastically.

"Are you ready to go?" Michael asked, probably trying to avoid an argument between me and Luke.

"Lemme grab my shoes." I said while walking into the bedroom. I slipped on my black converses and shoved my phone and headphones in my pocket. "Let's go!" I said.

(A/N: skipping the car ride because it's just a car ride and nothing is gonna happen until they get there.)

When we got to this waffle place that I don't know the name of because I wasn't paying attention, everyone ordered loads of food. Even I got more than I would normally eat.

"So, everyone sleep good?" I asked while we were waiting on our food.

Ashton and Luke exchanged glances but everyone responded with a "yeah" or "yep".

"So what's the plan for today?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"Well, other than meeting the 1D boys for lunch today, we have a small recording session to attend this afternoon but the lads said they would stay with you." Ashton explained.

"Oh, cool." I said. This means we get time to plan the surprise! I could feel myself getting more excited by the minute.

I was staring at the table, thinking about later, but in the corner of my eyes I saw the guys look at Ashton. Aston smiled at them, then they looked at me. They looked back at Ashton, who slightly nodded, then they all smiled. What are they doing? It's like they are trying to figure me out...

The waiter interrupted my thoughts by setting plates of food down on the table. We all were eating and conversing about random things and I noticed that I was genuinely happy. I'm currently eating without feeling self conscious and I'm surrounded by people who love me.

Guess who?

Leave me alone.

Why should I? Oh look! Your eating! Why are you eating? Haven't you seen how fat you've gotten lately?

The smile on my face immediately disappeared. If I was getting fat, the boys would have told me.

They don't care enough to notice. They like letting you get fat. The fans notice every detail, so they go on Twitter and laugh about it later. That's probably what they will be doing this afternoon.

They wouldn't do that. They're good people.

Keep telling yourself that. They haven't noticed your not eating yet, have they?

I didn't look up, in fear I would cry, so I listened for the boys voices. I didn't hear any so I assumed that they were eating and paying no attention to me.

They're not noticing you. They aren't paying attention. They're doing exactly what your dad did before he became distant forever.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek but I can't move. I'm frozen. This has nothing to do with my dad.

Everything has to do with your dad. He left you because he knows your worthless. They know your worthless. How long will it take you to figure it out?

Leave me alone.

I'm not gonna leave you alone. Not until you realize that your a fat, ugly, worthless, depressed little girl who doesn't have a place in this world!

She really is stronger. Can I just have 1 day where you leave me be?

NO! WHEN WILL YOU REALIZE NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE!? JUST DO THE WORLD A FAVOR AND DISAPEAR WILL YA?!

I was now crying but I was still frozen.
