Before 19 Years Later

The Bump

Hermione P.O.V
I was so excited for Harry and Ginny. I admit I thought it was a little early but I knew they could handle it. That had been through hell and back, they could survive this baby.
It had been two weeks since we'd found out about Harry and Ginny and they had finally revealed their secret. What a day that was. I won't get into detail you can use your imagination.
I was getting ready for class when I noticed a small bump in between my hips. I smiled and gently stroked it. I knew it wasn't real but it felt like it was so I treated it like so. I smiled and called Ron into the room.
"What's wrong? Are you okay? Are the twins okay?" He asked as he rushed into our room. I laughed at his panic and upon seeing this he calmed down.
"We're fine, but look!" I said removing my hand from my stomach to show the small bump the twins had made for themselves. He smiled and made his way to me. He knelt down and gently kissed my skin. He held his lips there for awhile and it took me a moment for me to realize he was whispering something.
"I wonder if this is what it would feel like if your mum was really pregnant. If this is what is feels like to be a father. Because it feels bloody brilliant." He ended it with another kiss feathered onto my stomach for the babies.
He looked up at me, "you heard all that?"
I nodded slightly teary-eyed. I brought his face up to mine to kiss and when we pulled away I pulled him into a bone crushing hug. He hugged me back but not as tightly as if I would break if he held on with his iron grip.
Later that day me and Ron went to Harry and Ginny's place. We were originally going to meet up in the common room but Harry and Ginny wanted a break. Ever since the news of their baby spread everyone had been fawning over them. At first they found it funny but now it was just plain annoying.
We talked about nothing important until I remembered my baby bump.
"Oh my gosh I completely forgot!" I said suddenly standing up and rolling up my shirt. Harry blushed red and turned away into Ginny's hair.
"Um Hermione please stop stripping in front of us." He said clearly embarrassed. I giggled slightly, and Ron and Ginny smiled.
"Relax Harry I only wanted to show you my baby bump."
"Oh" he said slowly turning around, laughing slightly. Ginny jumped up and ran over to me.
"Awwe, how cute!" She cooed. She smiled slightly.
"I can't wait until I start showing." I reached out and took her hand and said.
"You don't have long now, girl." She smiled at the truth of that statement.
