I wasn't really sure what to think. Surely this wouldn't be my reality for years to come, I mean, Ginny and I aren't even married yet. What if she thought less of me when I wasn't as good of a father as I feel I should be? Nerves swelled up in me like an oncoming wave as Ginny walked up to me.
"Don't be nervous" she said. "You'll do great" she gave me a quick peck on the cheek and continued to read the packet.
"It says here that we each will have our own portrait with a certain password that will take us to our houses. All of our belongings will be transferred to our new house during the first parenting class"
"Aren't you nervous?" I asked
"A little I guess. It will be really interesting to see what it feels like, you know?"
I gave her a weak smile and drew her in to a kiss.
