Finally

"Izzy, have you seen Magnus?"
Alec runs through the halls of the Institute, looking for the warlock in question, and he stops when he sees his sister in the hall as well.
 He stops briefly so that Izzy could talk.
"I haven't seen him recently. He might be in the library. But, Alec wha-"
Alec begins running again, giving the other Shadowhunter no time to finish her sentence. She calls after him down the hall.
"What are you doing, Alec?"
He doesn't stop running, only turns around to run backwards as he yells back to Isabell, a smile bigger than any she'd ever seen on him before, plastered onto his flushed face.
"I need to tell him that I love him!"
And with that, Alec turns around, and disappears within the halls of the Institute, continuing his search for the yellow eyed warlock.
"Finally."
Izzy says the word under her breath, and triumphant smile spreading across her features as she watched her brother disappear into the Institute.

Mumbling to himself, Magnus flips the pages of the old, yellow paged spell book he'd spend the last hour searching the Institute library for.
"Gah!"
Snapping the book shut, Magnus sits at a small side table which was squished between two large bookshelves. He drops the book, letting it slide to a stop across the table top, and flicks a piece of his bluish-black hair back into place with the rest of his messy, spiked hair.
At about the same time the exasperated warlock stands to find another book, the large doors to the library are slammed open, and a frantic Alec slides to a stop, panting.
"Magnus!"
He almost yells when he sees the warlock, a smile instantly lighting his features.
"I've been looking everywhere for you!"
Alec pauses to take a beeath, and Magnus looks at him with one eyebrow raised, a tiny smile playing at the corner of his mouth.
"Why were you looking for me, Alexander?"
"Because."
Alec paused and looked Magnus in the eyes.
"Because I need to tell you something, Magnus. Something important. I love you, and I have to tell you because I know the way I feel isn't something I can keep hiding. I've had to hide who I was for so long, but I don't want to do that anymore. I don't want to do that with you. I want to be with you, for real. And I want to do it the right way. I want to go on dates with you, and then come home and tell Izzy and Jace. I want to introduce you to my parents and have you over to eat Chinese take out with my siblings because we all know Izzy can't cook. I just want you, and I want to be with you. I love you, Magnus."
And with that, Alec stands quietly, a few feet away from Magnus. He doesn't speak, waiting for a response.
And he gets one.
Magnus doesn't speak at first, just drops his new book into the table with a loud thwack, and moves to Alec in three quick steps, pulling the Shadowhunter to him by his black Tshirt, bringing their lips together.
It was a soft kiss, and a desperate kiss. It was a kiss full of passion, and many night of whispered words and butterfly soft kisses, and heated kisses that no one would ever know. The kiss was the end of one story and the beginning of another story.
Neither one sad, but one much happier than the other.
When Magnus broke away, he kept his hands fisted in Alec's tshirt, and looked into the ocean he saw in his eyes.
"How do you want to do this?"
Magnus waited patiently for Alec's response, and a smile slowly crept its way onto Alec's face.
"Izzy should be the first to know. And then we can tell Jace. And then... My parents."
A nervous look made its way into Alec's face, and Magnus brushed a piece of his dark hair from his forehead, letting his fingers trail down the side of his face as he gently kissed the tension from his beautiful Shadowhunter's mouth.
"I love you Alexander. You can do this."

AAH! I love my babies!
