7. His confession

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Maka's POV xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I woke up, wrapped in Kid's arms. Looking at his face made me flush, he was so, pretty? Was that the right word? He really didn't even look real. I was lucky. Lots of girls would want to take my place.

Soul's confession made me angry, it never should have happened. Especially if he was dating Blair.

"What's got you frowning this early?" I froze in suprise. Kid and I were face to face, and he was awake.

"It's nothing. Sorry."

"Don't worry about yesterday, your time should be spent happy. You deserve only the good things the world has to offer." Kid yawned, nuzzling into my neck.

"Thank you. I think we both need good things."

"Then let me give you those things, be good with me, you don't have to do anything you don't want to."

"Kid what are you-"

"I like you. That's how a confession should be made. I've been interested in you for awhile. But now I know I'm really in love with you. You don't have to accept my feelings, just please don't stop being my friend. You're really important to me." His breath was warm in my neck and his hands shook the arms around me. I felt feverish.

"I like you too. I've also thought you were handsome and sweet, so if you're really alright with me, then can we?" Did he really like me? The Death the Kid? I bit my lip and tried to push away my negative thoughts.

"Alright with you? Maka-" He pressed his forehead against mine, his eyes were impossibly yellow. "It's more of if you're alright with me. You're practically a Goddess you know."

"That-" I was to embarrassed to form any coherent thought.

"Are you saying yes to my confession."

"Y-yes."

"Can I kiss you?"

My eyes went wide at the question and I looked away, how was he so bold? I hummed out a yes and sat up.

He matched me and sat up. His kiss was gentle, and I felt like I was floating. He pulled me against him and we broke apart panting. He kissed me again, rough and hungry, and I was breathless.

His hands massaged circles against my back, they cupped my sides, and ran through my hair. Everything felt warm and right.

"Kid you're actually such a softy." I giggled kissing his nose and running a hand through his hair.

"I'm not soft." He huffed, leaning into my touch.

"You're acting like one though." I laughed playfully.

"Your acting like one though." Maka challenged.

That's it, I'm going to get you now.

"Oh you poor innocent girl." I smirked, moving my hands back to her waist, pulling her closer yet again. Our faces were an inch apart now.

"I'm going to make you wish you hadn't said that." I mused, kissing her again and when we broke apart it was only so she could breath.

"Kid please." She whined, buring her head in my chest, and grasping my shirt.

"Oh I thought I was just soft." I mused.

"No your definitely a bad boy." She teased, laying her head against my shoulder.

She makes me want to kiss her again and again. If only the kisses wouldn't end.

I wonder what Kid and Maka are doing right now? He at least likes her, sick or not, that fact wouldn't change. I thought as Tsubaki, Patty, BlackStar, and I watched tv.

"What do you guys want to do?" BlackStar asked suddenly, blinking boredly at whatever cartoon Patty had on.

"Play giraffes." Patty giggled showing off her stuffed giraffe.

"Uh, no thanks Patty you go ahead." Tsubaki smiled.

"I wish I knew what Maka and Kid were doing." I sighed

"Yeah, I guess. " BlackStar grumped.

"what's wrong BlackStar?" Tsubaki asked.

"Soul's off on his date with Blair, Kid's probably kissing Maka at this point, because we all know he likes her. I wouldn't be suprised if she fell for the OCD freak as well, seeing as she ditched Soul for him. Now we're the third wheels just chillin here, looking good."

"I thought you and Tsubaki were a thing." I asked smirking, they both froze. Patty and I were the only ones who could make fun of Kid. He would have to pay for his crime.

"BLACKSTAR AND TSUBAKI SITTING IN A TREE K-I-S-S-I-N-G FIRST COME LOOOVE! THEN COMES MARRIAGE! THEN COMES BLACKSTAR PUSHING A BABY CARRIGE! THEN MR.GARIFFE COMES IN AND EATS THEM ALL MWHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA (believe it or not, all of Patty's scary laugh is one word)

Patty was scaring everyone, Tsubaki and BlackStar looked at each other in pure terror, and I just died laughing.

"Somebody's sleepy." Tsubaki laughed nervously when Patty paused to yawn. She scooted away from BlackStar, blushing, I might add.

"Don't tell anyone else Liz. Baki's still shy about it." BlackStar mumbled, causing me to giggle and agree.

When is she going to get out of her room? I thought looking at my watch. We were supposed to be going to a restaurant. "Soullllll I'm ready~" Blair cheered, and what I turned around and saw took my breath away.

She was in a white dress with a golden seam. Her purple hair was like a silk cloak against her back, and she was wearing white high heels, with a gold choker. she was stunning

"Wow Soul." Blair giggled.

(yeah I know you've all wanted it so here it is 😋)

"Wow soul." I giggled, he looked handsome. This is what Maka's missing? I laughed at the thought.

He was wearing a black tux, with white stripes in a vertical pattern. His tie was red and he had black striped pants, and black dress shoes to match. His white hair added to the Mr. Eye candy look here.

"Shall we?" Soul asked, holding out his elbow.

"Of course!" I purred, linking our arms. We headed to the mystery destination and when we arrived I all but stopped in my tracks. It was HUGE, and sooooo fancy. "Soul it's so amazing!"

"So, would you like to go inside?" Soul smirked, and I rolled my eyes, giving him the duh dude look. He chuckled, escorting me inside and talking to a man at the front desk. The place was even prettier inside, and almost exclusively full of couples.

"Hey Blair, what would you like? I'll pay, so go ahead and pick." Soul smiled at me, after we were lead to a table. I looked at the menu. Pasta, turkey, salad? Uh no.

I then turned to the desserts and let my sweet tooth do all the talking. Let's see muffins,cupcakes, cake, or PUMPKIN PIE? YES! My eyes basically turned into hearts as I showed Soul.

"Makes sense you'd like pumpkin pie." He joked, reminding me of our first meeting. He put his hand on mine.

"Sir? Ma'am? What would you like today?" Some fancy butler guy asked.

"2 slices of pumpkin pie please." Soul smiled and the fancy butler guy nodded in response.

"So what do you think?" Soul ask.

"It's amazing, thanks for everything Soul." I smiled and he laughed.

"I really do love you Blair."
