Part 16

Levi snuck out of the house before my mom woke up. Since then, I didn't see Levi in person for another two days.  During those days, I went to my classes, hung out with Armin, Jean and Marco, and went home, then did it again. I felt lonely, incomplete. On the third day, Levi and I were able to meet at school during lunch.

"Hey," he said as I approached him. We met in a small corner by the back of the school. Hardly anyone was there. I waved at him. I sat down on the pavement. He slid down the wall to sit next to me.

"I need to ask you something," I said to him.

"Yes?" he said.

"What is this?" I asked. "What are we?"

"Well, what do you want us to be?" Levi commented.

"Uh...I'm not sure. I've never felt like this before. I don't know what to consider what," I said. "What do you think this is?"

Levi looked into my eyes. He was dead serious, but his cold facade made this look almost scary. He smiled, lighting up his expression. "I think this is  something special," Levi said.

He kissed me softly. His warm lips balanced the touch of his cold skin. "But what are we?" I asked.

Levi stood up, and brought me with him. He held my hands. Looking up into my eyes, he said, "Eren 'adorable brat' Jaeger, will you be my boyfriend?"

A rush came over my body. My face flushed with red and happiness spread through my bloodstream. The butterflies in my stomach were going crazy. He bit his lips while waiting for my answer. "Yes," I whispered in his ear. He kissed me immediately. Our tongues were intertwining in our mouths.

We were interrupted by a rustling to my left. I looked over to see Hanji, the girl who offered to help me on my first day. "H-Hanji?" I said. She hid behind the wall.

"Hanji, you fucker, get out here," Levi said. Hanji slowly revealed her face.

"I'm sorry, Levi! I'll go!" she said.

"No, stay. You saw us. If you tell anyone I'll fucking kill you," Levi said, coldly. I liked how he was aggressive. Hanji nodded vigorously.

"Okay, so you understand that clearly?" Levi said once more. Hanji nodded again. Levi shooed her away and she ran as fast as she could.

"That was close," I said.

"Yeah," Levi whispered. He turned to me. He looked into my eyes. "Eren, did you know you're so fucking hot?"

I blushed. "Sure, I am, Captain," I replied. We kissed once more.

"Okay, boyfriend, let's go," Levi said. We walked off, holding hands.
