I wanted a piece of you,
Was that not to much to ask?
The inside of you shined true,
You didn't need the flask
Or the beautiful mask,
When offered a drink
How about "I'll pass".
You were on the brink,The brink of losing me,
There could be no we,In the grave all is gone,
To alcohol you were drawn.All I ever wanted was you,
The you with no addiction,
With no antidepressant prescriptions.Over me you chose booze,
