You lost your belief in me,
That's what's unbelievable.
You're supposed to be the one, the one to lift me up
When times get rough,
But I see now,
That all you wanted to do,
was knock me down
Watch me and my faith in you hit the ground,
I laid face down.
Starting to drown, in a river of my despair,
Even though I care, for you,
I'm choosing to not stay,
Even though I love you,
I'm choosing to walk away.
Farewell, I'm moving on.
Do you hear it, Do you hear that?
Yes, it's me knocking on the door,
I'm here to gather my things, I'm leaving town,
I'll be gone, never to be found,
Away from you, safe and sound,
Until I find a new home,
Where I belong,
With someone who can love me,
Love me farther than the eye can see.
