Chapter 1- Intro {Edited}

Guys!!! I'm looking back at this and it's so bad😁😁 I promise it get better! Just get through the first couple of chapters!

Chains. 

That's what Marie felt was holding her down. 

Her life had never been easy, but it had never been unbearably hard. When she was little she was happy. She lived in a cozy home with her parents and three older brothers; Mitchell, Braxton, and Calvin. Up until she was eight life was great. She didn't have a care in the world. But then reality set in, and the truth crashed upon her like a tidal wave.

 Her parents left. Without even a simple goodbye. She just woke up one morning, and they had left without leaving a trace. Of course since she was young she assumed they were coming back. But the days turned to weeks, and then into months and they failed to fulfill her hopes. At the time they left her oldest brother, Mitchell, was only a mere seventeen. He knew that his parents would never turn up, and that the future of this family was on his shoulders. He did his best, he really did, but there was only so much he could do. After a year or so of trying to survive the small family was torn apart.

 Mitchell was able to afford a small apartment in downtown Sydney and found a job in the city. 

Braxton was shipped off to live with their close Aunt Susan and her three little girls.

 Calvin went to live with his best friend Justin and was only a half hour out of Sydney. 

Marie had always had a special bond with Mitchell so he kept her with him. But no eighteen year old boy can give the proper love and attention to a ten year old. Again he felt as if his family was being ripped from his fingers, and he wasn't letting his last bit of hope(Marie) slip away from him.

 As she grew older he thought he had her right where he wanted her, relying solely on him. But it all changed when she met the boy named Ashton Irwin.
