A Blazing Love

I lay awake, unable to sleep
Upset, your sound asleep,
Roll over and pull me close
Kiss my head. Close my eyes

Knowing I'm safe.

Relaxing I drift to sleep,
My dream land, no longer
Bad, no longer evil... thank
To your light... your love,
Your gentleness.

I awake in the morning,
See your handsome face,
Kiss your forhead.
You gently rub my back.
Smiling I close my eyes.

Your touch, your embrace
Drives me insane.
Your kiss sends sparks
Through my body.
When you say,

I love you, my heart
Blazes. When you trace
My skin I shiver, in a
Good way. We have a
Blazing love.

Oh the way you make me
Feel, it's as if my heart was
Never broken, as if I'm alive,
The numbness gone, the fear
May linger, but not strongly.

There is no words to say,
How you make me feel,
It's as if my heart is on fire
When I'm Around you.
Hints a blazing love.

A flame I hope never
Dies, never burns out,
Never hurts me....
Your my husband.

My king. My world
My everything.
My safe zone.
My heart.
My blazing love.

Authors note: this is to my husband kasey.
