Katie(pov)

I walk out of the big house and Annabeth waits there with Ryle in her arms.
"How was-" she asks before I interject,"Where is Ethan?" I ask looking around her,hoping to see my son but he was nowhere. The problem with Travis instanlly went to second and all that was where was my son. Annabeth shurgs,"He was playing with Percy and the boys" she says and points to ground infront of the forest. Percy and all the kids where playing and having fun. I dont see Ethan anywhere. I run to Percy,"Have you seen Ethan" i ask panting,I was in shape for the war but after 2 kids and no training it tires you alot. "He is right here...." Percy trials and looks around to realize Ethan wasnt there and then his eyes catch the Forest. No. Shit. No.

Before he could react I run into the Forest armed with a dagger. "Ethan!!" I scream. I dont hear anything. i run deeper into the forest until I see the familiar hair poking out from behind a tree. i could hear his sobs. i run to him,"Hey baby Mummy is here" i say hugging him,"M-mummy" he says scared and points behind me. i can hear the growling of a Hellhound.

Travis(pov)

I see Katie walk into the forest and I decided to follow her just in case, i made a mistake i was going to correct it.Hear a growl and look up to see a giant hell hound, like a huge one bigger then any I've seen before. On instinct, push her and the kid out of the way, pain explodes in my chest as the hellhound claws me. All I remember is the monster on top of me and hearing the scream of young kid and a shriek of a dying hellhound.

katie(pov)

I snap out of my shock and process what just happened. I draw my dagger from under my dress which was strapped to my thigh and careful not to stab Travis Impale the hellhound with celestial bronze covering both me,Ethan and Travis is golden dust. On Travis I see blood seeping out of his chest, I scream for help and then start talking to him. "hey how are you feeling?"

"Ugh how bad is it" Travis slurs "can't tell it's covered in blood so let's go wash you off" I say and hold Ethan tight and hold his face in my hands,"You got to be brave for mummy and go get help,Okay?"i say and kiss his forehead and he runs to get help.

"okay." I help Travis up, him putting all of his weight on me and I stagger us to the lake where Percy first discovered he was the son of Poseidon and then help him walk in the water washing the blood away. I gasp as I see three deep claw marks,I might hate Travis at the moment but I still loved him and he did save me. I bring him out of the water trying to keep him awake as will and the other people from CHB along with Will come. I help them get Travis on a stretcher and talk to him as we rush through the forest. My mind is elsewhere as I think about when Travis and I were dating and the only reason he was in the Aphrodite cabin was to save my life. All I can think now is I'm sorry Travis.

*A Few Hours Later*

I was waiting outside the infirmary with Ethan and Ryle.Ethan wanted to say thank you. Will wouldn't let us in ,so I stood outside with Conner pacing, after what felt like years he came out and told us that he was fine just sleeping but we could come in. Conner said he would come later and mumbling something about Edward and Miranda, leaving me to go in by myself. I wiped my eyes and walked into the infirmary. The first thing I say was Travis laying on a bed wrapped in bandages. I walked over to him and grabbed his hand thanking him and apologizing,the boys did it to and kisses his cheek and we walk out as we were not allowed there after that.
