(Sorry for taking so long to update. Everything's been either hectic and busy, or just like 'kill me because I don't even have enough motivation to open my eyes' type of thing after school got out.)

(Unedited.)

"Sherlock," John whispered, obviously annoyed. The two girls from yesterday's interrogation were sitting in front of the two.  Kacy was messing with her nails, picking something out from under them, or messing with the other girl's curls. Of course, the other girl didn't like that very much.

"Sherlock," John whispered again. Sherlock had been staring at the two for the whole fifteen minutes they had been there. Not even speaking a word, just staring. His eyes were darting between the two, and it looked as if he was trying to suck in every little detail he could.

"Shut up," Sherlock snapped. John immediately rolled his eyes, scooting his chair back and standing up. Sherlock only merely glanced at him, while the two girls both snapped their heads up to watch him like a hawk does its prey.

"Um... Are we going to talk now??" Kacy asked hesitantly. The other girl sat back in her chair, wrinkling her eyebrows.

"You haven't even asked our names," Audrey said, pursing her lips slightly. Sherlock only continued to stare at them. Something about the both of them was confusing to him, and he couldn't quite map it out. He was beginning to get frustrated, almost to the point of flipping the table he was leaning on.

John turned around to look at them, and glanced quickly at Sherlock. He didn't need a double take to realize Sherlock wasn't going to say anything, so he decided to step in and question them himself. He figured the poor girls were probably scared out of their mind. Or just plain perplexed.

"Ah- yes. So, you, are Kacy," He stated, pointing to Kacy, before looking at the other girl, "I know that bit. I just don't know your name." He tried to keep his voice kind and polite, attempting to smother his own confusion towards Sherlock's silence.

"Audrey," She informed him with a bored sigh. Kacy scooted back in her chair as Audrey leaned her elbows on the table, and began to gently mess with the curls. Kacy was obviously trying to distract herself, while Audrey was watching Sherlock's new expression with a raised eyebrow.

"Okay..." John said, not really knowing what all to ask. So, he decided to go with the basics.

"So, first off, exactly how old are the both of you?" He asked, and Kacy glanced at him. Audrey rolled her eyes at the question.

"They asked us that yesterday," Audrey muttered, obviously annoyed. Not even a few seconds later, she turned around and swatted Kacy's hands away from her curls.

"Stop it!" She hissed. Kacy huffed, and sat back in her chair.

"Fine," She mumbled in defeat, before answering John. "I'm thirteen. I'm turning fourteen in July."

"Twelve," Audrey grumbled, before quickly snapping. "But I'm a grade ahead! And I'm turning thirteen in October!" At her statement, Sherlock groaned in his own annoyance. At his groan, Audrey glared at him, and he returned the glare. John rolled his eyes, before sitting back down in his chair.

"Okay. Now, what are your hobbies?" He asked. This time, he only asked a question he thought Sherlock might have asked. Sherlock, however, glanced at him and gave him a funny look.

"They both like to draw," Sherlock said, and John glanced at him.

     "What?"

"Show him the sides of your right hands," Sherlock commanded, and both the girls hesitantly showed them their hands. "Both of them have smeared pencil led over the side of their hands. They both like to draw. And looking at the state of Kacy's fingers, she types a lot. A whole lot. Probably has a habit of popping her knuckles because of it. I'm guessing she writes stories in her free time." He said boredly, and John rolled his eyes.
