Chapter 4: The Anxious Return

hello everyone and welcome to the 4 chapter of Giving Them Something to Regret. This is not going to be a very long chapter but I will ensure that it is interesting at least. So as always sit back and enjoy the chapter. :).

Chapter 4: The Anxious Return

I follow my brother through the house to the section of it give to my family. I sigh in antcipation and anxiety from finally seeing and talking to my parents after being gone for four years. Josh looks back and smiles at me encouragingly. I smile back at him for a second but I can not hold it for long. When we reach the section of the house for my family Josh walks into the living room area and taps mom on the shoulder to get her attention.

I can see that she has not changed in the last four years. She turns to face him and gasps but her eyes do not show any recognition. Father turns when mom gasps and growls when he sees me. He grabs mom by her waist and pulls her back to him. I stand tall not allowing him to scare me at all. I am an alpha now and therefore do not act scared and I can not allow him to think he has any power over me.

"Get away from us traitor," growls father.

"Honey what is it," demands mom.

"Darling I guess you would not really know her since you never really paid her any attention but that is Kayla," dad says sweetly until he reaches my name which he growls out really low.

"I guess I should have expected the traitor saying but dad would you have rather of had a child who felt that she could be more but was denied the chance by the people she loved and her pack or would you rather I be what I am now," I ask him not giving him any clues as to what I am.

"I do not care why you left. You are still a traito and a rouge," yells father.

"Fine then father call me that for the rest of my life. But you should know, I am no rouge father. Do I smell like a rouge. No I smell like what," I demand.

"Roses," mom whispers thinking about it. "Hold on a pack called Aikira(Rose in the old language) just moved into town. No it could not be you switched to a different pack."

"No mother I made a pack. I am the alpha of Aikira. We are one of he top packs in Europe," I tell her calmly.

"I highly doubt that," growls father very lowly.

"Tell them Josh," I demand.

"She is telling the truth. At least about being alpha of Aikira. They came and made a treaty with us just earlier today. They chased a bunch of rouges off of our lands with ease even though they were out numbered six to twenty or was it thirty and that was with out their alpha fighting. I saw the skills they fight with and it was amazing," Josh tells them as I sit down in oneof the chairs closest to the door.

"I don't care if you are alpha of a strong pack. No daughter of mine would ever leave the pack and betray my trust like that,"  dad yells louder than ever.

"Fne then this non existant daughter shall leave you be and will never see you again," I reply coolly before walking out of the door.

It is already past sunset and most of the girls have probably returned from scent marking. I might as well just return to the house. I run swiftly through the territories towards our pack house. I try not to think about what happened but fail miserably. As I near the house something catches my attention just seconds before everything goes dark.
