I heard a knock on my door. I turned over from being on my side and wiped the tears and sleep out of my eyes. My head felt heavy as I rose up to go answer the door.

I see Anna standing there holding my ice cream. Relief washes over me as I take the bag from her. For some reason her lips quirk up into a smile, but before I have any time to ask, I hear a loud thump in the hallway.

"GAY-BRIEL GIVE ME MY MONEY!"

"ACTUALLY I'M BISEXUAL SO SUCK IT."

In my mind I'm thinking what I'm the hell, and no that's incest but I don't have it in me to make conversation right now.

I was about to get up and maybe go take a shower but then my phone buzzed.

Dean I thought as I tripped over a bag to get to my phone.

Meet me in your backyard.

Meg??

I ran downstairs and out the door  to see my ex-girlfriend from high school smiling and holding a Wendy's bag.

I couldn't help but smile back.

"So how's my unicorn?"

I just ran and hugged her, picking  her short form off the ground.

"It is so good to see you Meg, you don't even know."

"You to bee, so life been treating you well."

I almost snorted, "Just hand me that burger. They make me happy."

She looked different. her hair was now a short bob and lacking the blue streaks. She looked business casual compared to her punk look back then.

She looked beautiful.

We sat on the porch swing for a while. Talking about the government and animals, also bands just because.

We were siting side by side, thighs touching.
"So no more lip ring?"

"Umm no actually, I took it out when I started college."

Her finger ghosted over the my lips, then rested on the scar on the right under my bottom lip.

"Oh..." She whispered.

My eyes fell shut as she inched closer to my face. 

"I wonder if it would feel different if we..."

I could now feel her breath warm over my lips, my hands on her arms.

"It probably would feel a bit-"

My phone buzzed in my pocket.
"Sorry I need to take this."

"Hey Cas, look I need to talk to you, in person but I'm calling to ask you when would be good."

I looked back at Meg, my brain having mixed emotions, but then Dean's eyes flashed in my mind.

"Tomorrow would be fine."

"Alright, see you then."

I hung up the phone, "So who was that. "

"I honestly don't know."

"Are you-"

"GABRIEL NOVAK IM GOING TO KILL YOU TILL YOUR DEAD BRINGING HER OVER IS CHEATING IM KEEPING MY MONEY."

I saw Gabe smirk and stick a sucker in his mouth and walk away followed by Anna chasing through the bushes.

"Have the been watching-"

"This whole time." I sighed. "Yes they have."

She laughed, "Same old Gabe, but Anna? "

"Yes. Gabe pulled her in to his madness."

She hugged me and I felt her lips brush my cheek.

"I'm gonna go. Bye Bee."

I almost flinched in the emotion I felt as she walked away.

I guess she was what you call my rebound.  I do hate to admit but I still had feeling for her, but not enough to get those green eyes out of my head.
