adj. a sound that is sweet and smooth, pleasing to hear.

i mean, out of all the words in the entire english dictionary, that's one word id use to describe her voice. some more could be: sweet-sounding, honeyed, mellow, soft, silvery, soothing, rich, smooth, euphonious, harmonious. just a few i came up with.
the snow got rougher and rougher the longer we were out there, it was starting to get brisk. she stood up, suggesting to go inside. we walked slowly, with my arm around her shoulder and her hand around my waist. when we got inside, i gently placed some logs of wood to start the fire. she cuddled up with a blanket in her favorite chair, looking small and peaceful, but i could see the slight shudder still.
it was her late fathers chair. they used to sit together and he would read her bedtime stories, some of her favorite memories were made on that chair.
i pushed myself up from in front of the fireplace and went into our room to get more blankets for the two of us. once i returned, i sat with her for a few minutes, before i got up to make her favorite hot chocolate.
our coffee-colored siberian cat, bowie, came in and sat himself in front of the fire, and closed his eyes and went to sleep. the christmas tree in the corner, with the soft glow of the lights, and presents underneath, definitely made a wonderful and beautiful scene. and genna as the main focus.
i felt very complete as i sat with her. i could see her eyes leisurely closing. i look around the room, finding things she has made, all beautiful like herself. the stockings she hung neatly that morning, with our names embroidered into them, even a small one for bowie. my eyes drifted towards the rustic wood fireplace mantle, where the black framed pictures of us were, like some from when we were young. i looked at the bookshelf, books stacked and placed, with more photos sitting on top of them.
the ringing of the phone startled us both. she woke up with a flinch. i got up, walked over to my phone. the screen read "unknown" and answered it with a slight pause.
"hello?" i spoke into the phone, waiting for someone to reply. "hello? is this mister tyler joseph?" i was very confused, "yes this is he? who is this if i may ask?" "my name's april, and i work at riverside methodist hospital here in columbus." my heart started beating very fast. if youre getting a call, theres only one reason why the hospital is calling, a loved one is there. "we have your mother, kelly, and sister, madison, admitted here. they were in a car accident."
tears started brimming my eyes, and my voice started to break. "ill be there right away." i hung up the phone and told genna about madison and mom, and she threw the blankets off of her and stood up. she grabbed her snow boots and jacket. I grabbed the car keys and ran outside, shutting the door behind me.
