"Children?" Anakin nearly spluttered. "My child died with Padme!"
"Padme had twins before she died. We kept it a secret, so you wouldn't come looking for them."
"Oh." Anakin's mind whirled with this new information, but he kept calm. "Can I... Meet them?"
"Of course. Follow me." Obi Wan lifts himself out of the chair. Anakin looked at him. Obi Wan had changed. His beard was a little longer, and he looked tired, like he didn't sleep well. Anakin immediately felt guilty. Was that his fault? Anakin got up, and followed him out of the room.
Obi Wan lead him to the room where they had their last battle.
"My children, they were in there, when I attacked you?" Anakin asked. Obi Wan looked over.
"I'm sure you had no intention to murder your family when you came her, but yes, your son was in there."
Anakin nearly broke down at the news. What if he had beaten Obi Wan, and slaughtered the children in the room. That would be unforgivable.
"Padme had twins, right?"
"Yes, a girl and a boy. The girl isn't training to be a Jedi, though, but she wants to fight for us."
"Fight for you? Aren't they too young?" Anakin asked incredulously. "I don't want..."
Anakin realized what he was saying, he hadn't even met his children yet, but he already felt something towards them. Obi Wan had treated them he was their father, so he obviously had the right to determine what was best for them. For now.
"Alright, let's go inside." Obi Wan said. The two of you emerged into the room, when the younglings all covered.
"Master Obi Wan, why did you bring him?" Asked a small boy with brown hair. "He was going to kill you."
"The only one we need to see right now, is Luke Skywalker. If you could come with me."
A small boy, no older than ten, walked out of the crowd. Unlike the others, he was smiling, his blue eyes bright. He had dirty blonde hair. Luke Skywalker.
"Hello." Anakin looked down at the boy- His child.
"Who are you?" He asked, not dropping his father's gaze for a second. "You hurt Master Obi Wan yesterday."
"Luke, I'm your father." Anakin said.
"My... Father?" Luke said, and suddenly his smile grew larger. "I have a father. Who's a Jedi!"
Anakin winced, his son calling him a Jedi wasn't entirely true. More like, a Jedi turned traitor turned Jedi again.
"Do you know where your sister is right now?" Obi Wan asked Luke.
"Yup! She'll be so impressed when I tell her I have a father!"
"You do realize, that Anakin is both your father, as well as your sister's."
"Oh." Luke frowned. "But I don't want to share."
Obi Wan sighed, looking over at Anakin, who was lost in thought. His son liked him, and he was about to meet his daughter. Obi Wan waved his hand in front of Anakin's face.
"Found her!" Luke skipped over, bringing a dark haired girl, slightly taller than her brother, with him. The girl quickly darted behind Obi Wan.
"Who's that?" She whispered, loudly enough for Anakin to hear.
"This is your father, Anakin Skywalker." Obi Wan explained, to which Leia shrieked.
"Obi Wan told me that you turned to the Dark Side! He said you were very mean!" She grabbed Obi Wan's arm, and hugged it.
"Leia, I'm not going to hurt you." Anakin said softly, and saw two eyes peeking out from behind Obi Wan's arm.
"Are you sure?" She mumbled.
"Completely." As the little girl walked out from behind, Anakin crouched down, his two children in front of him. For a moment he didn't know what to say. Luke suddenly reached out, and touched the scar on his eye.
"Where did you get this?" The blonde boy asked.
"In a battle, fighting for the Jedi." Anakin smiled at the memories of fighting side by side with his Master. Luke suddenly hugged him, Leia following him, with just a slight bit of hesitance. Anakin hugged them back, holding his twins tight, swearing he would never let anything bad happen to them. Two pairs of eyes looked at him, blue and brown.
"Are you actually a Jedi?" Leia asked.
"I guess so." Anakin frowned. He wasn't exactly sure how he stood with the council.
"Yes, you are, Anakin. They might not trust you for a while, but if you work hard, you can regain it." Obi Wan said.
"The council never trusted me," Anakin said, and then stopped himself from ranting. Now he had two kids, and he didn't want to expose them to anything bad, for a long time.
"I wasn't expecting you to betray me, apprentice."
