Lui Calibre - Into The Night

I grabbed Lui's hand and dragged him out of the school. I brought him under a tree and we both sat down.

"What's up?" Lui asked. I looked up at the summer clouds.

"What do the clouds remind you of?" I asked as Lui looked up.

"Uh, like ice cream I guess.. Why?" He asked as I smiled.

"They remind me of mashed potatoes!" I exclaimed as Lui smirked at me.

"You're so childish." Lui said in his squeaker voice. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I'm childish." I teased as we both chuckled.

"So are we still going to the school dance tonight?" He asked as I almost forgot. I glanced from the sky to him.

"Yeah I guess so." I mumbled as Lui was about to grab my hand until the bell rang meaning we're going to be late for class. Lui stood up and held a hand out and helped me up. We walked into the school together.

"You're late!" Evan yelled from across the hall. I rolled my eyes as if we didn't know already.

"Aren't you late as well!?" Lui asked as Evan shrugged.

"Might as well be fashionably late." Evan mumbled as we got closer to him. Lui and I looked at eachother, trying to find out what to say. "Point proven." Evan stated as I shrugged in response. "You two going to the dance?" Evan asked as I nodded.

"You?" I asked as he grabbed a juice box from his locker. He opened it and stuck the straw in. I rolled my eyes as he made those almost empty juice box sound. You know the sound ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Evan shrugged.

"Don't wanna third wheel."

"I thought you and Sydney were dating?" Lui asked as I looked from Lui to Evan.

"She's not into dances. She'd rather stay home and told me that she's gonna have family time." I glanced at Lui. He just shrugged. I than glanced at Evan. I raised my eyebrows. "What?"

"Remember back in sophomore year when I was dating Ryan? He wanted to go to the dance but I didn't and you know why.." I hinted Evan as he finally caught on.

"What the fuck!" Evan implied. "I gotta go." Evan mumbled and walked away. Lui looked at me.

"What happened?" Lui asked as I shrugged.

"Remember when Evan and I had a 'thing' or whatever in sophomore year?" I asked as he nodded. "Ryan went to the dance while I was with Evan and that's when our thing began." I added as Lui held in a laugh.

"So you're implying that Sydney might actually be cheating on Evan instead of hanging with her family?" Lui asked.

"If I cheated on Ryan with Evan than chances are, he already knows what's up." I shrugged as Lui smirked.

"Come on let's go to class." Lui grabbed my hand and dragged me to class.

Later that day

I was in my room doing my hair. (I'm not gonna say a hairstyle simply because you could either have long or short hair.) My room door opened and there was my mom.

"You look beautiful!" My mom complimented as I thanked her. "Need help with your dress?" She asked as I looked at it placed on my bed. I nodded. I stood up and took off my bathrobe and my mom helped me into my black dress (as in picture! I love it!) She zippered up the back and smiled at me. The door bell rang and I knew it was Lui. My mom ran to answer it, she's such an old fashioned woman. I put on my flats because heels pain me. I walked out of my room and down the hallway. There I saw Lui in a somewhat tux. I smiled at him.

"Wow, y/n.. I.. You.. Uh.. You look gorgeous!" Lui couldn't find the right words but yet he did.

"Not so bad yourself Mr. Calibre!" I exclaimed as Lui smiled.

Arrive on scene aka dance

It was quite lovely but yet quite dead.

"Come on guys lets dance!" Kelly suggested as we all stared at her. I glanced at Lui who just shrugged.

"This is a dance after all!" Lui said as he grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the middle. He let go of my hand as we stood across from eachother. I raised an eyebrow as I watched Lui dance to 'One Dance' by Drake, Wizkid and Kyla. Pretty soon everybody was on the dance floor. I smirked and began to dance myself.

Lui's POV

I looked up and saw y/n dancing. The song ended and the next song, I immediately recognized the beat. I watched y/n as she danced. It was like it was just her and I in the room. How a light shines on her. I began to sing softly along to the song.

Y/n came up to me and grabbed my hands.

"Come dance with me!" She exclaimed. I smirked and began to dance to with her.

We sang together and y/n chuckled.

"I haven't heard this song in forever!" Y/n says as I nod.

"It's still a good catchy song!" I added as y/n smiled and nodded. Y/n stopped dancing and looked up at me. She leaned in and connected our lips. She pulled away and I smirked. "This wasn't that bad at all." I mumbled as y/n agreed.
