I was swiping through tinder and ended up on one person.

It didn't say how far away he was, I looked through his photos. One photo he wore a blue/green plaid shirt and sat on a rock staring off.. something in me made me swipe right.

'It's a match!'

Came onto the screen, I continued swiping not really paying attention to anything else.

'Hey' appeared and was from Tyler. I replied with a hi. 'Snap?' I gave it to him and didn't receive another message from him. Soon after though, I got a friend request from him, I accepted it and once again, didn't think much of it.

*2 WEEKS LATER*

I woke up at 10 to go to work, I made it and sent my streaks on snapchat. One of them Tyler, something was off about this kid though. I went back to working, and at around three, I got a snap from Tyler. I opened it curious as to what he sent.

'Good Morning' I giggled and snapped back.

'It's 3 pm, I don't think this qualifies as morning'

'Yeah I guess you're right, I only wake up around this time though.'

I was now laying in bed, it was four in the morning and I had work the next day. I was still talking to Tyler from earlier today.

'Not that I don't want to talk to you, but you have to wake up early. You should sleep y/n'

I smiled to myself and rolled over sending him a snap

'You're probably right, goodnight Tyler'

With that I locked my phone and bit my lip.

*End of August*

I was moving from the country to the city for university. I recently found out Tyler lives two hours away from me. Here's what I found out recently from Tyler. His ex is pregnant with his kid, he was in jail, and he failed a grade so is still in high school. Typical, and I knew my father wouldn't approve of him but he was so sweet and kind to me. We still talked everyday from when we wake up, to when one of falls asleep. He's also admitted that he likes me, which I'm surprised, like who catches feelings over message. It was midnight and my roommate was in his bedroom. My phone began to ring and I looked at the caller I.D.

'High Goofy'

That was Tyler's contact name because he was obsessed with the goofy meme that looked high. I answered reluctantly.

"Hello?"

"Yeah hello?" This was the first time I'm hearing his voice over the phone, it was deep but sounded nice.

"Can I help you?" I teased and he chuckled.

"I can't sleep, and I got bored." I went and sat on the counter by the sink, hugging my legs close to me.

"Awe too bad muffin, I could honestly sleep." I replied and smiled to myself.

"Well fine" he hung up and I looked at my phone, that damn smile still on my face. My phone began to ring again and I giggled like a girl in middle school.

"What? I'm trying to sleep"

"You can't... not when I can't" I could tell he was smiling on the other line.

"WHO'S THAT?!" My roommate came out of his room as curious as curious George.

"Tyler" I muttered as he immediately knew who I was talking too.
