"David, we aren't breaking up! We're just having some alone time. Besides, we've been together for years. I think we do need this and it'll be good. Trust me, the sex we'll have when we get back will be ten times better." I smirked as David sat down on the chair. I packed my clothes and I heard David sigh loudly. I turned around and looked at him, he stared at me.

"Can't you just fuck one of my friends?" David offered to which I chuckled at.

"No babe, I can't. We'll be back with each other before you know it.. Okay?" David grabbed my shirt and pulled me towards him, I put my hands on his shoulders and kissed the top of his head. "I'll be at Haily's house if you need me!" I zipped up my suitcase and walked out the door.

I arrived at Haily's house and knocked on the door. She opened it and greeted me.

//just for a note.. If feels weird including myself in this, cause when I write I usually go 'David kissed Haily but include y/n so if I mess up, I'm sorry\\

"Y/n! How was David when you left?" She questioned as I placed my stuff down.

"Not very well, I'm sure he'll be fine though honestly." Haily smiled at me and grabbed my suitcase.

"I'll show you, your room for now." With that I followed her down the hallway, I was the second last room on the right. I walked in and smiled, it wasn't that bad of a room. It's not like I'll be staying here for a long time so it'll be good. I thanked Haily and began to unpack my things. One by one I put them into the drawer of the brown wooden dresser. As I grabbed my black leggings, something hit the ground. I began to fold the black piece of clothing while looking around for what fell. Near the bed I saw a little black square, my heart stopped and I began to shake a little.

"Hai- Ha-Hail-" I was so shocked to yell and I dropped the clothing I was folding. I slid down to my knees and didn't know what to feel. "Haily!" I finally called. The door opened and Haily rushed to my side.

"Oh my god y/n?! Are you okay? What happened? Did you see a ghost?! Oh my god we're haunted! You're possessed! Where are Sam and Dean, they can help me with this! tell me is this lucifer's work?!" I slowly shook my head and pointed at the black square. Haily's eyes went to what I was pointing at, she stood up and approached it slowly. I watched as she picked it up and opened it, her eyes widened.

"Is it what I think it is?" I asked as she nodded. I stood up still feeling a little weak, we both sat on the bed and stared at this gorgeous diamond ring, the top of the box said 'I can wait for you y/n'

"Wow, he really loved you enough that he was going to propose.. But you wanted a-" Haily began but I stopped her.

"Don't you dare finish that. I made a mistake." I admitted, Haily grabbed her phone from her pocket and pulled up David's name.

-I began to help y/n unpack and a ring in a box fell out.. Were you going to propose?

It was read almost immediately and he began to type back.

-yeah but she wanted this time away, I had everything all planned out and than the next day I heard 'we need time apart'. I love the girl to death but this made me second guess her love for me.

My eyes widened, he thinks this is a bad thing? I just needed this time away to find out what it's like to be alone.. Wait, I'll never be alone. I'll always have David and soon little ones of us together. I hurriedly grabbed my phone and called David.

"Y/n?" I took a deep breath.

"David I am so sorry about this break I wanted.. I didn't realize I never wanted this and that I'll always be happy to spend time with you."

"Babe it hasn't even been an hour."

"So you're saying you don't want me to come home?" I asked with a bit of sass.

"No of coarse I want you to come home, but you didn't last very long Hun. Is it cause the ring? If so I'm sorry" David apologized to which I chuckled.

"No David" I lied a little, I mean it made me realize some stuff but it wasn't 100% the ring.

"Well spend one night at Haily's and I'll pick you up first thing tomorrow morning. I want you to experience this at least once.." David suggested to which I agreed with. "I'll see you tomorrow y/n, I love you-"

"I love you too.." I hung up and looked at Haily who was prepared to listen. I told her David's plan and she smiled.

"That's a great idea, should of done that instead. Spend one night to experience it instead of trying to live without him for a while. How long were you planning too though?" Haily asked as I didn't really think about the time it self.

"Whenever I was done.. Apparently I'm already done." We both laughed.

"Well I'll leave you alone, I'm going to go write my book." Haily stood up.

"Oh what's the book about?" Haily stopped in her tracks and grew a red face.

"A girl, I don't have a name for her yet.. Many love stories with boys like.. Evin, John, and others like that." (Ha! I make myself laugh. Do you understand this?) Haily looked at me intensely. "Can I use your name?" She asked as I smiled.

"Really?" She nodded.

"Well lots to write, goodnight y/n."

Next day

I felt a weight being pushed into the bed.

"Get up! Get up! Did you miss me!" I opened my eyes and saw David jumping on the bed. I sleepily smiled at him and nodded. He laid beside me and hugged me tightly. I felt at home with David, no matter what and where we are.
