Finally Free

Well me and Luke having been going for almost 3 months now and everything is going great! Lisa and Eric are doing great as well and I think Amy may have found her cowboy. His name is James and to Amy's excitement he has a southern accent. They aren't anything yet but I think they will be.
As for the band, we've gotten back to performing about a month ago and it's been great! We're going on tour later on in the year for a few months which sadly means being away from Luke but he said it was okay as long as we call or text everyday.
Right now we're actually in the studio for our album just touching up on all of the songs before it gets released. I can't wait for it because it has pretty personal songs on there, but the one thing that amazes me is how patient the fans were with us.
"Christina your next" Lisa said coming out from the recording room and Christina nodded while getting up and walking in.
"Hey Lorenzo" Lisa said while sitting down next to me.
"Wazzup fatso" I said back to her and we both tried to keep a serious face but ended up laughing. It's 12:30 but I think Luke is at lunch so I decided to text him.
Lauren: Hey Luke!
Luke: Hey Laur! Aren't you in the studio?
Lauren: yep and aren't you in school?
Luke: sadly, I just wanna see you! What song you doing right now?
Lauren: haha sameeee! And we're doing worth the fight right now
Luke: cool well I gotta get to class rn but I'll see you later <3
Lauren: Okay bye! <3
I locked my phone and waited for my turn to record.
It's 3:00 now and we finally finished recording, thank god! I love recording don't get me wrong but when it gets to the point where your sitting in there for hours it's pretty brutal.
We all start walking to the car and Lisa got in the drivers seat and I hopped in the back with Dani.
"I can't wait for our album to be released!" She said happily and I laughed.
"Yeah just a few more days and then our fans shall be blessed" I said while laughing which caused everyone to laugh.
About 20 minutes later we were pulling into our driveway and everyone hopped out. Just as I was going inside I turned around and saw Lisa staring off into space.
"Lise?" I asked questionably walking over to her.
"Yeah Laur?" She responded but not looking at me.
"What are you doing?" I asked her and she shrugged and looked at me.
"Just looking at the sky I guess" she said and I chuckled.
"Okay whatever you say fatso" I tell her and she laughed.
"Laur wanna go to the park?" She asked me and I nodded.
"I'll tell the others where we're going" I tell her and she nodded. I walked inside and shouted that Lisa and I are going to the park and then I walked back outside.
Lisa P.O.V
Me and Lauren started walking towards the park. After a long day at the studio it's better to relax at the park instead of a house with 13 people.
About 15 minutes later we got to the park and we went over and sat by a bench. I was watching all the other little kids play around and it was so adorable.
I wrap my arm around Lauren and pull her into a nice big hug and we just stay there. We've had one hell of a journey so far and I wonder what will happen next.
Looking back from what happened I noticed how everyone changed. Christina is a lot more protective now, Kath really has t changed but she's always asking everyone if there okay, Amy became much more confident because she usually went with whatever we did but now she's actually giving her I put which is great! Lauren acts the same though I can tell she's still taking all of this hard. Dani matured a lot and became much wiser and well me, I still wake up from nightmares and sometimes flinch when people touch me but I've been getting better.
Eric has definitely helped me with this whole mess and I'm so grateful for him and we made it official to the public as did Lauren and Luke and the cimfam was STOKED! They truly are the greatest, without them we would be no body's but they made us who we are and I'm forever grateful.
"Lise, is everything gonna be the same as it was?" Lauren asked out of the blue and I looked at her
"Honestly Lauren I don't think so but we can get through this as long as we have each other and the others" I tell her and she nodded and snuggled into my chest and I held her even tighter.
All we need to do is just hold each other, we don't even need to talk but just being there is good enough for the both of us, I guess that's why we're so close since we understand each other so well.
"Well Lauren look at is like this" I start and then she looked up at me
"We're finally free" I tell her she nods
"Yeah, we are" she said and we just sat on the bench and looked at all the families playing.
We may not be the same but change is good, it may be hard at first but in the end it will always get better, everything does. Holding Lauren like this makes me feel so good, knowing your little sister feels safe being with you is probably the greatest feeling ever.
I look at the time and it reads 5:00, dam we've been here for 2 hours! We should definitely get home before the others start to freak.
"Laur lets get home" I tell her and she nods and we both got up and headed home.
About 15 minutes later I was opening the door to a very loud house, the boys were running around and I heard some people singing and just random conversations, ah the noise never gets old.
As long as we're together we can defeat anything that comes at us. Our journey has just begun and I'm excited for the rest, though I'm finally glad that we're Finally Free.
