Five Years Later

(Continue Dylan)

Sky: Oh my gosh I missed you so much

Dylan: I missed you too

Chanel: Where's my hug

I haven't seen my friends since graduation. I couldn't come back for a while after Sparkle broke my heart. But here I am now. Spain was nice and Kristina and I are still close. She's been married to China the last four years and they really made long distance relationship work. We hugged each other for a while at the airport and then we were off. I don't live in the neighborhood I used too. I have a better home now and I'm a psychologist in training. Right now I work for some women and just assist her. I start my first day on Monday. Kristina and I still live together and China stays here too. She's been holding down the house while we were gone. Once settled in at home we all sat down on the couch we had a lot of catching up to do.

Sky: So Dylan anyone special

Dylan: No

Sky: Well who do you have your eye on

Dylan: I have my eye on that chocolate cake China eating

Kristina: Dylan doesn't want a relationship

Sky: Why

Dylan: Because love doesn't exist...........I haven't been with anyone since Sparkle left

Chanel: Wait you haven't had sex in five years at least a kiss

Dylan: Nope and I don't plan on being with anyone ever. Everyone screwed me over that I wanted or they are dead I just don't believe in love anymore but I don't wanna talk about this or her anymore

After talking with them a little longer Chanel and Sky left. We agreed to hang out sometime tomorrow then they were gone. I was eventually left all alone because Kristina and China went to their room to have I miss you sex. Everybody got somebody but me. I decided to get into my car and go for some food. I needed to eat something. There are days I'm so depressed I just don't eat. I drove to my old high school. I park my car in front and I just stared at it. Before Sparkle I wasn't that happy then when I got with her I was happy. Broke up and my life fell apart and got back together again I was happy. Sparkle is the key to my happiness. But I need to get over her and find someone new because she dumped me. I need to move on with my life. Anyways I pulled off and I drove to the park. I just sat on the bench and enjoyed the nice, cool, August air. Suddenly a dog ran up to me. He started jumping on my leg and he was just really cute and adorable.

Sparkle: I'm sorry he's always running up to strangers

Dylan: It's cool.............Sparkle

Sparkle: Dylan............when did you get back

Dylan: Early this afternoon

Sparkle: Well five years did you great you look good

Dylan: Same to you

With that being said she picked her dog and walked off. I noticed the ring on her finger. I can't believe she married someone else after I propose first. I just sat there on the park bench and buried my face in my hands. After a while someone came and sat next to me.

Lexi: Cheer up its going to be okay

Dylan: No it's not

Lexi: Well sitting here crying isn't going to make it better

Dylan: What do you know

Lexi: That whatever is your moping about isn't worth it

Dylan: Yes she is

Lexi: Well tell me this is she sitting here crying over you

Dylan: Your right

Lexi: I know I am I'm Lexi

Dylan: I'm Dylan

Lexi: Nice to meet you
