Angel

Hinihintay ko si Micah, my best friend. Antagal naman kasi nung babaeng yun. Hay siguro nag ayos yun. Pero imposible eh. Hahahahaha kung gaano ako kaarte ganun naman siya ka simple.

While waiting for her, nanuod muna ako ng tv. Until I heard the sweet sound of our doorbell.

*Ding Dong*

I opened the door and there she is wearing a shirt with a cardigan covering it and some knee-high skirt and a pair of ballerina flats.

Hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit pero Micah and her family are super rich but she doesn't brag about it. That's one of the many things I like about her. Kahit gaano sila kayaman, mas pipiliin pa rin niya maging simple.

"Hi bestie!" Bati niya sa akin sabay hug.

"Hey! So let's go?" Yaya ko.

"Tara! Let's also watch a movie after. The movie of my favorite book is showing na." She said excitedly.

"Sure. Tara na." Sabi ko then sinara ko na ang door namin.

She unlocked her car and I hopped in.

After mga 10 minutes ay nakarating na din kami sa mall. Micah doesn't usually go to the mall. Except when she badly needs to buy something very important and books and also when a movie of a book she's reading is showing on cinemas.

Naglakad na kami papunta sa Army Navy and the cashier took our orders and she paid for our lunch.

While waiting for our order di ki maiwasang tanungin si Micah.

"Uhm bestie....." i started.

"Hmmmm??" She hummed back.

"Gusto lang kita tanungin. Kamusta ka na?" Tanong ko.

"What do you mean?" She curiously asked me.

"I mean kamusta ka na, about your mom?" I asked.

Shoot! Please don't cry, bestie.

"Hmmmm okay naman. I don't know pero it's really hard to move on and let go. Lalo na mother ko ang nawala sa akin. Mas mahirap at mas masakit pa toh nung niloko ako ni Kyle. This was nothing compared to that. Pero I know na someday sooner or later matatanggap ko din." She said stuttering.

I know na the girl infornt of me is very strong. She's one of the strongest girls I know. No matter how many times na siyang nasaktan, she'll never fail to smile.
