I woke up with the sunrays touching my skin and the sunlight hurting my eyes. Saturday pala ngayon. Another boring Summer day.

Bumaba na ako sa kitchen at gumawa ng breakfast. Tulog pa si dad kaya di ko na siya ginising pa.

I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a freshly squeezed orange juice.

Habang kinakain ko ay inopen ko ang phone ko.

Nagtweet na ako at niligpit ko na ang pinagkainan ko. I went upstairs to brush my teeth and then I took a bath.

After I that, I went to my library at nagbasa ng ilang pages ng libro na binabasa ko.

Everyday is filled with so many surprises. The people who you thought are just ordinary strangers are gonna bump into you in many possible unexpected way.

Hay....ito nanaman tong libro na toh. So many messages.

Nabored ako sa binabasa kong libro.

Haaaay what to doooooo!?

Since wala akong maisip na gawin this weekend. Maybe I should just visit the National Library.

I changed into my usual summer attire. Shirt and overalls with my worn out rubber sneaks.

I walked out of our house and I walked all the way to the National Library.

I opened the double doors of Manila National Library. Just the feeling of being in a place filled with books patches up my boredom.

I scanned the tall shallow shelves trying to find a book that I could possibly borrow.

Usually, the National Library is my happy place. I always like to read and do my homeworks here. During the summer I always visit the National Library since I've got nothing else to do. The people here are pretty familiar with me already.

I ended up in the Novels Aisle when suddenly I bumped someone and a pile of books that he's carrying was scattered on the floor.

"Ay sorry. Di ko sinasadya. Sorry talaga." Sabi ko sa guy na nabangga ko.

Wait....this guy looks familiar....

"No, it's okay....I-" the guy stopped when he saw my face.
