Sorry for not updating for so long! Writer block sucks...

I've decided that this book is going to be a short story. I know whats going to happen in the end, but I hate writing filler chapters (like this one), so I'm going to limit them. This book should be between 10 and 20 chapters long. Sorry if I disappointed anyone!

Anyway, enjoy! :)

---------------------------------------

The past two weeks went by in a blur. New faces and new names to remember, territory to stay within, and more boring stuff. The only thing I didn't mind was the food. Luke was actually a good cook.

Yes, we bonded more over the last two weeks, but I still wasn't totally happy. I was still worrying about Holly and what she was doing. Would she come here to look for me? Did she think I ran away?

At the moment, I'm sprawled out on the couch with Luke, who was sleeping. It's hard to fall asleep during a Paranormal Activity movie, but apparently Luke found a way. I giggled at the thought. He looked peaceful. A little too peaceful. An evil grin spread across my face as I thought of things I could do to him. Scream in his ear? The old shaving cream-face palm trick? Dip his hand in warm water and find out if the tale is true? Will I make Luke Stevens wet his pants? I rubbed my hands together for dramatic effect as I laughed evilly.

I carefully got off the couch, being careful not to disturb sleeping about-to-pee-his-pants beauty. Once I had untangled myself from Luke, I ran toward the kitchen. I silently grabbed a bowl from the top shelf of a cabinet and turned on the water and waited for it to turn warm. I filled the bowl half way and tip-toed my way to the living room. Just as I entered the living room, I stepped on a squeaky floor board. I swore silently as I waited to see if Luke had woken up. He shifted around on the couch and sleepily opened one eye. It focused on my in a few seconds, and he screwed up his face in a look of confusion.

"What are you doing?" He asked, sleep heavy on his voice.

"Who, me? Nothing. I was just....taking my cereal bowl out to he kitchen." I said, making up a story. Crap! I really wanted to know if that story was true....Until next time. I smiled inwardly. I ran back to the kitchen and poured the water - and my dreams - down the sink. When I got back, Luke had woken up completely and was sitting on the couch. The TV made a loud sound, and we both jumped. I busted out laughing. Luke reached for the remote and paused the TV, right when someone was clearly going to die. I had already saw this movie before, but it amused me.

"So, what do you want to do today?" I asked as I flopped down on the couch next to him.

"How about a date?" He asked.

"A...date?" I asked, confused. "Like, a real date?" He hadn't taken me out since I had gotten here, or even mentioned it.

"Yea." He gave me a genuine smile. "Tonight? For supper?" He looked hopeful. Jeez. Take a pill. It's just a date.

"Okay, sure." I said, getting off the couch. "Where will we go?"

"Would you hate me if I said that it's a surprise?" He asked, stretching.

"Ugh." I grumbled. "Can't you just tell me? I probably wont know where it is if you tell me, anyway."

"Exactly." He replied. Crap. He got me there.

"How far away are me? I can hear my gut." I complained in the passenger seat of Luke's Camaro. Luke laughed.

"Almost."

"It feels like we've been driving for hours! It'll soon be dark!"

"Hon, it's 7:30. It doesn't get dark until 9. We've only been driving for twenty minutes."
