Arielle
If I said that I wasn't nervous about taking my life back properly at tonight's party, I'd be lying to you big time. I'm excited but nervous as well. Hopefully I can have breakfast in peace and enjoy my morning before Shane shows up with his friends for a little get-together before the party.
Just as I'm about to make a small bowl of cereal, the doorbell rings. Please let it not be Shane ready for party preparations. Please God, let it not be them.
As I soon as open the door, five people walk in. "Morning Shane," I say annoyedly. "Morning... everyone else."
Awkward...
"Hey Angel... I know this is out of your comfort zone but I'd like us to start early. Bella Webber and Zoey Vangsnes will go shopping with you. Asher Valentine, Nathaniel Byers and I will stay here and plan how we will hack the sound system and play your song." Shane pointed to each one of the people in the group with each giving a small wave.
"Woah! Cool house..." Bella muttered while the others followed her into the house and into other rooms in the house. Soon, I am standing alone in the kitchen. I mutter to nobody in particular, "Would you guys like a tour? Great, come on in..."
I walk up the stairs and hear a terrible sets of notes being played on a piano and follow the sound to the music room. I stand in the doorway and watch them fool around and have fun. Maybe they won't be as horrible as I envisioned them to be.
"Hey!" They all said loudly with their gazes pointed at me.
Did I just say that out loud? Holy shit.
"Sorry guys but can I actually have breakfast now?" I say before walking out of the study to the kitchen.
They all nodded in agreement. Bella went on about how big the piano was and all sorts of things. After I had gone upstairs to finally get ready to go out, the boys were all focused on something on the laptop. It sounded like my song of the night. Before I could comment, I was being dragged out by my two new "friends" I think.
We hailed a taxi and to the shopping mall we went. Shop to shop we went and I still hadn't found the perfect kick-ass outfit for tonight. They found their outfit, shoes and I was getting irritated to a point of wanting to leave the mall.
"Wait! Don't leave! We can find you something. I promise," Bella whined. Sometimes I want to lock her in a room by herself because she's like a baby girl. Super annoying.
"We have been walking around for ages and you guys found your outfits while I couldn't find anything! Plus, I'm hungry too!" I did my own share of whining. This was completely unfair! They look so perfect and I, well, will probably look like shit. I turned my back to them and started walking towards the food court to get a hot dog. They followed me and got burgers for themselves. Ugh, burgers are disgusting in my opinion. What? Don't kill me. It is my opinion.
Thirty minutes later of me arguing with Zoey and Bella and we were back shopping for my outfit. We only had three more shops to go to and if I didn't find my outfit after checking them then I'm not going to Dylan's house party. Reality was dawning upon me that maybe I wouldn't be able to make my big appearance. Ugh! Of course, let life poop on my parade. I deserve it, right?
Upon entering the last shop I noticed one dress in particular that stood out the most. The dress was white with a gold sequined line down the chest and it came up to mid thigh. The shoes that were placed underneath them on display were beige stilettos and a matching beige purse. They were perfect. (Her party outfit is put above)
"These are perfect..." I said dreamily while running my hands across the white fabric. I have to have it, but then again, it is a little pricey. Whatever. My aunt wouldn't mind me using her card. It's not like she cared what happened to me anyway. Before I could come up with anything better, Zoey had taken my dream dress, shoes and purse and had gone to the counter and waited, seemingly impatiently, for me to pay the items.
She barely speaks for the whole trip and now when she does, it is to say she'll would pay for my stuff. These guys are unbelievable. I stood next to her quietly while she handed my clothes to the teller and then handed them to me. Apparently she knew my size and surprisingly she got my size exactly right. I stared at her in disbelief and she only shrugged her shoulders. "What? I'm good at estimation. Now let's go show them who's boss."

I enjoyed it more than I thought. I decided to make one last stop before going home to the boys. "You guys have to try out this waffle place! You deserve this after sticking with me to find my dress and for, you know, being friends with me and all."
Bella put her hands on my shoulders and then did one of the weirdest things ever. She hugged me. Nobody ever hugs me so this was scaring me a little. I was rigid throughout her action. That was weird...
Zoey said out of boredom and said from behind her, "Any friend of Shane's is a friend of ours."
So we finally got our waffles and ate them quicker than I expected. We then decided to walk home since it wasn't far and we were enjoying ourselves. Turns out that Zoey is a rapper and Bella is an an amazing make up artist. She isn't professional but I've seen pictures and her skills are killer.
Upon entering the house the smell of Cologne hit us like a moving truck. Dang! These guys smell good...
"We're back!" I shouted to no one in particular.
"Great! We were just about to call you guys. It's 17:39. The party starts at 20:00 till late. You guys spent quite a while at the shops, you know? Anyway, I'll focus on that another day. Right now, you guys need to shower and dress up. We'll be waiting in your living room. Go on now! We don't have a lot of time," Shane scolded us like a dad scolding his 16 year old daughters for spending too much on his credit card.
"Okay okay! Relax! We're going!" Zoey said while raising her hands up in surrender. One by one we each took a shower in my house (which they will all owe me for later on. Just saying or thinking rather.)

20:30
We all drove in Shane's 2016 red Chevy which, by the way, was stunning. We talked the whole way. Finding something new about each person with the 15 minutes we had before it was show time. When we finally parked fairly close to the house, everybody turned to me like they all knew something I didn't.
"What?" If these guys are holding out on me I will walk home from here. Trust me. My emotions can make do crazy things.
Nathan spoke up first, "Wear this microphone. It will be connected to the speakers by Zoey. Say something dramatic. Really grab their attention. By then, Shane would have brought Lucy and Lana to the front and center of their in-house stage so that they know what's happening. I'll keep the DJ's music from playing by hacking into their servers. Everyone, wear this. It's an earpiece to tell the group you're ready for the performance of the night. Bella and Asher will record the whole performance to post online. It must include Arielle's big interruption, the song and Lana's and Lucy's reactions. Arielle, blow those mothercluckers away," Nathan said so calmly that I almost didn't catch that he was encouraging me. Everyone burst into laughter at his use of foul language turned weird.
I smiled at him and he smiled back. He really is handsome when he is smiling instead of so focused hacking the Wi-Fi or something.
Okay, I can do this, I say as I attach the tiny microphone to my dress. Show time!
Time to rock this party like never before! Watch out Lana. I'm back and I ain't going nowhere.
