Monday. The shortest horror story in history.

Here I stand at the gates of my school and for the first time in a long time, I'm afraid to go inside. I'm not normally afraid but I am. Why? Three words: The Lucienté twins. Mostly Lana though. Markus has been a bit quiet for a while, letting his sister torture me with humiliation. How sweet... Not.

People were staring at me as they passed by. Some girls giggled and walked by and some guys were whistling. I guess I made quite the impact two days ago. I might as well walk in before anyone thinks I'm having a mini stroke here.

As I walk in with my head ducked low I bump into the people I needed to avoid. Lucy, Alicia, Lana and Markus. I fall to my butt and reluctantly look up at all 4 of them. Great, I'll be dead before anyone can find me.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you actually think I'd let you come onto my territory after RUINING my party?" Lana is the one I bumped into and she decided to bring her friends to take a jab at me. I stayed quiet and stared her straight in the eye. If she thinks I'm going to speak she is gravely mistaken.

"You don't own the school, Lana," a familiar voice spoke from behind me. At least he shows up the one time I need him.

"Christian, you should just walk away like a good little boy. It should be easy since you abandoned her after her little accident," Markus spoke up and started walking towards me. It was so graceful I almost forgot how he brutally broke me. Almost.

"It's not like that! Get away from her!" Christian shouted at him. I wanted to scream at him for helping but I didn't have the words. I was paralyzed.

"Why would I listen to you?" He directed at Christian before turning back to me and yanks me forcefully back to my feet. "I actually missed you, you know? From our hugs to our kisses... Remember?" He spoke gently to me, like he actually cared but that was quickly replaced with a cold smile.

"Then you decided to break my heart. Then everyone left. Poor you... all alone. Just like you should be. You can't sing or dance or do anything and you still had the nerve to destroy our party. You've always been worthless my dear. Why do you continue living when no-one wants you around, huh? Isn't that why your parents sent you away from home and your sister got all the attention? They never really wanted you in the first place. You. Were. A. Mistake," Markus said heartlessly while wiping away the one tear on my face that refused to stay put.

I wanted to say it wasn't true and everything he said was a lie but I couldn't. The words wouldn't come out. They were tearing me apart and I couldn't even fight back. Maybe it was all true. Maybe my parents never wanted me in their lives.

Before I could blink a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me into a hard chest. His scent was still the same and he still never left during that moment with Markus. Christian Watterson.

"Leave her alone and make someone else's life a living hell. She made some mistakes but you have no right to judge her!" He shouted at them. I wanted to be happy that he was defending me but I could think of one thing. I need to get out of here.

They all walked away and I pulled away from him and ran to the girls bathroom with him following closely behind. He eventually stopped at the door and I looked into the mirrors lining the room.

I had always been the mistake. Ugly, pathetic, worthless... I can't do anything right. I'd rather leave this world knowing everyone will be much happier then stay here and letting the pain continue.

"Please come out, Angel. I'm really sorry. Can we just talk?" Christian begged from outside the door.

"Leave me alone! You don't need me around Chris! It's better this way," I said with tears quickly falling down my face and a blade that I pulled out from my bag in my hand. Suddenly, Shane's words replayed in my head.
