NYKKI'S POV

I crept to my room with an air with of disappointment swarming me. I don't want to rush this, but that boy is just so irresistible. Why do I have a god for a mate when I am just a witch. I disrobe and change to night clothing. All my dreams were of his face.

DAMON'S POV

She is perfect. She is everything I could ever ask for. I seemed to be on autopilot when I reached home in no time. How did I not have an accident? Upon entering my home I could feel the eery sound of breathe be heard, but it wasn't from me. "Who are you?" I cry.

"The one to kill your soulmate because she is nothing but good," he felt on his neck. He called upon the power to orb where he wished so he could escape what he knew could be the end of his existence. I could never leave my Nykki, especially when I just found her. As I thought of my only true love I will ever have I could feel myself take off to where my angel is. You lose this time evil, I thought.

NYKKI'S POV

I felt a whirl appear in my room from no where, "Nykki," I hear, "I was just caught by a demon, but I escaped. Wake up, angel." I knew it was my Damon.

"What happened?" I spoke with fear.

"Demons," he informed me, " I was worried I would never see you again. I thought she was going to kill me."

"Thank god, that you are ok," I breathed, voice heavy with worry. I clung to him as I had just received a mini heart attack when he appeared.

"Thank god you are," he uttered.

"Why would I not be ok?" I ask him bewildered.

"The demon said she would be the one to kill you," he informed me.

"Callie, that must have been her," I shook my head.

"Callie?" He questioned.

"Yeah, her name on NeverAgain is Candace," I roar with fury flowing through my body. I could feel my heart race, and my body heat up.

"Nykki, sweety you are glowing a violent red," I heard Damon speak.

"I don't care right now," I roar. I could feel power surge inside of me, flowing through my veins. In the distance I hear lightening strike, the house filled with howls of pain. I glance over to Damon scared. It wasn't either of us that was hurt.

"Let me check it out, angel," he thought he was going to.

"No, you don't have any active powers," I tell him.

"So? I don't want you getting hurt," he growls out.

"Erg..... We both better go then, since we don't want the other getting hurt," I clear up. We tip toed down the winding stairs. Upon reaching the parlor, we see a half-demon, half-angel kneeling down in agony.

"The two that stand before me are the chosen to fight the cult Charmed. With Angel and Witch they fight for the side of good. They claim the lives of none but turn them to the side of good. They must save us all," the half bred spoke with his dying breath and then vanished.

"What happened to my cousin, and what was he talking about," Damon breathed.

"I think he was talking about us..... He was was your cousin?" I ponder.

"Yea, my aunt is his mom. He is a wretched and divine. Half demon and half angel," he stated.

"Awe, sorry about your cousin, Damon," I tell him while hugging.

"It is ok. Nothing can be done now," he whispers to me.

"Did you know that you were glowing in the other room? It was a dark red color," he informs me.

"Huh," was all I could say in response.

"Yeah, it happened when you were angry," he informs me.

"Must be a new power thing," I toss back.
