I woke up hearing my name being called. I opened my eyes and saw Harry’s green orbs staring directly into mine. I sat up slowly making room for Harry to sit. He sat down and continued to look at me.

          “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, I’m fine. Why would you ask?” I asked curiously.

“Mr. Benzoli talked to me today. He said he was worried about you. He’s right, I mean, I am too. He kind of told me everything. I’m sorry.” Harry said. I could tell he truly meant it.

“Wait, what? You talked to Joe?” I questioned.

“No, he talked to me.  He told me about your dad. And he also told me you guys are back together. Is it true?”

“Yea.” I nodded. He looked down as if he upset in me.

“Harry, are you mad at me?” I asked a bit scared to what he would say.

“Mad isn’t the word. I am disappointed though. You dug yourself in this whole, dug yourself out then dug yourself back in the whole again; but deeper. You told him you loved him!” Harry exclaimed. He was completely right but I couldn’t bare losing Joe again. I just suffered so much pain without him here with me.

“Harry, what about Madison?? Don’t you really like her? That’s how I feel about Joe. It’s not like he’s this old guy. He’s four, five years older than us! Harry, he’s just like one of us.”

“I don’t feel that way about Madison though… Look, Char I just don’t want you to get in trouble or caught, or hurt again.”

          “I won’t.”

“Charlotte, I love you.” He said changing the subject.

“I love you but you have to trust me. Everything will be okay, if we stick together. Joe can’t always be here to come over if I get sick or if I just need him.”

“But I can.” He replied.

“Thanks Harry. That really means a lot. You’re a great friend.” I softly kissed his cheek and rested my head on his firm yet comfy shoulder.

Time passed. It was getting late so I decided to go inside to go to bed. When I entered the house, I noticed every light was off except for the kitchen light. I slowly walked to the kitchen to see Brian sitting at the breakfast table alone.

“It’s late. You should go to bed.” I said. He didn’t respond. He didn’t even look at me. Guilt rushed through my body. I knew I had to fix this before I lose him too.

“I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean what I said. I was just mad.” I confessed.

“Brian! Brian! Dad, answer me!” I practically yelled.

“I heard you. Just go to bed.” I didn’t ignore his request. I walked upstairs and into my room. I didn’t bother to put pajamas on. I crept into bed and fell fast asleep.

I woke up around six in the morning to get ready for school. Like usual, I showered, pulled my hair into a ponytail and did my makeup. I decided to wear a ruffled white and black romper with black flats. I grabbed my black bag and walked downstairs. I peeked in the kitchen and saw my mom and Brian there, as usual.  I walked outside and started walking to school. It took me about twenty minutes to get there. I walked to homeroom and sat down in my seat. Harry shortly followed after me. He looked upset as if he’s been crying. He sat down in his desk which was next to mine.
