I sat on the log watching the flames rise while I thought about the past, I couldn't help but let a tear drop from my cheek remembering the good memories of mine and Edith's parents being actually happy and caring.

I felt a hand rubbing my back pulling my weak body into the persons shoulder "It's going to be ok." I heard Felix soothing voice leaving more years to stream down my face.

"C-can I stay with you tonight?" I asked scared of what more bad dreams might come.

"Yes but no funny business." he said still rubbing my back, I nod and say there for a while until everyone started to get tired, "I'm going to my tree house so come up when your ready."

I nod sitting up so he can get to to leave, I sat there for well I don't know how many hours until something caught my eye.

I looked over and saw something fly by, I stood up and looked around that area since I was very confused and curious.

"Your coming with me." I heard a voice demand before I got swept away, with everything going black probably lack of sleep.

I woke up on something comfy and warm, I sat up looking around seeing in in a small wooden type house.

"Ah I see your awake." I heard a women's voice, I looked over to the door seeing a tall young women walking over with her long vintage dress, she sat down on the bed with a smile while she brought the back of her hand to my forehead.

"W-where am I?" I stuttered as the memory from last night came back when a shadow took me away from Luna my only family member left.

"Oh my, I must explain what happened, we'll I was walking home and I found you in the forest out cold, I brought you back here and me and my daughter have been making sure you haven't died." she half chuckled, "if your curious my name is Arana and my daughter is Eliza she is about your age."

"Mom! I'm back from getting the things you asked for." a young voice said, I heard light foot steps coming closer until I saw a very beautiful girl, her long brown hair left down in waves, her shining green eyes starring back at me I smiled at her.

"Thank you honey." Alana said then turned back to me "So what is your name?"

"Edith" I said as I kept my eyes on Eliza, I watched as she tilted her head down with a smile as her cheeks heated up, she grabbed a piece of hair and pushed it back behind her ear.

"Well you are welcome to stay until we can figure out how to get you home." Alana said as she eyed me and Alana with a big grin on her face, "well I'm going to make dinner. Eliza why don't you show Edith around?"

I perked up when Eliza agreed with a nod, Alana walked out leaving me and Eliza alone, "I'm Edith." I said as I stood up walking over slowly.

"Isn't that a girls name?" Eliza said with a laugh

"Well I think it is, I guess my parents named me that so I can get girls." I joke "I'm sorry that's a lame pick up line." I let out a small laugh.

"It's ok." she laughed, I soon joined until she started to talk again "Well I'll show you around, come on."

She held her hand out for me which I accepted, she started to show me around, I think I'm going to like it here.
