When I left the bathroom, my hair wrapped in a dark blue fluffy towel and a white sundress on, my bed was empty. The bed was made and the two pillows set at the head of the bed, nicely fluffed.

I could hear dishes clanging around downstairs, and then a loud thud! Isaiah cursed quietly which made me chuckle.

I unwrapped the towel from my hair and patted my head dry. Then I grabbed a white wide-toothed comb and ran it through my hair, untangling all the knots. Luckily for me, my hair was naturally straight so it didn't take much effort to comb out my hair.

Once I was finished, I dropped the comb on my dresser, gave myself one last glance in the mirror and then headed downstairs.

Isaiah was in the kitchen spreading herb-&-garlic cream cheese onto two multigrain bagels. A typical New York meal.

How he knew that was my favorite, I had no idea.

The coffee pot dinged and once he was finished with the bagels, he walked over to the coffee pot, where there also sat two plain black mugs. And that's when he saw me, standing in the entrance to the kitchen, smiling at him.

"You like what you see?" He smirked and stretched out his arms, beckoning me to walk into them.

To be honest, I didn't even know that there was a stupid grin plastered across my face. I walked into his arms and wrapped mine around him.

He hugged me against him tightly and kissed the top of my head lightly.

"Any regrets from last night yet?" He whispered lightly.

My eyes had been closed, the stupid grin still on my face but I immediately frowned and shot my eyes open.

I pulled away and looked up at his piercing blue eyes. "Why would I have regrets, Isaiah?" I asked.

He shrugged and smiled down at me. "So you don't have regrets?"

I laughed and shook my head. "Absolutely not."

"Okay, well, I made you a bagel and some coffee." He nodded towards the counter.

                      "I see that." I smiled.

"Let's eat and then afterwards I think we should go to the park or something. I want to get to know you and I want you to know some things about me. You know, before this gets more serious."

He wanted to get more serious.

My stomach did flip flops. "Okay." I said in a low voice.
