Dear Ashton,When I arrived in school today, I wasn't expecting to see a beautiful girl around 5'5" with dark skin and raven hair that fell in waves around her shoulders to approach you nervously with her cheeks the same color as cherries. I watched as you two spoke in hushed voices, before the both of you stopped talking completely for a few moments with your hazel-green eyes as wide as saucers and her cheeks looked even more flushed than before. I knew exactly what just went down, I wasn't a genius but I could read the atmosphere and I could analyze what exactly what happening. And I knew exactly what was to come.
I saw the way she turned away with tears pooling in her dark eyes, her previously bright eyes reflecting how she truly felt inside as her fragile heart shattered into a million pieces. I saw the way she ran away from you as fast as she could, apologies spilling out of her lips as she dashed off towards the school entrance.
I remembered breathing out sharply, a heavy feeling settling in my chest as the realization finally dawned on me after experiencing that spectacle.
Someone else loves you. Someone who isn't me.
