Moving In

My alarm went off at 8 am like every morning, even though it was a Sunday. I had lots to do. I got out of bed and had a shower. Getting changed into the outfit I hadn't packed and went out to my car. The supermarket would be open by now and I wanted to get stuff to last me the next few days and what was on their list.

I really am nervous about this. I hate going into a situation where I don't know anyone.

I got back just before Shelia arrived and was able to load most of the boxes into my car, just a few to go into Shelia's.

"Morning Chick"

"Hey" I said in reply

"All ready?" She asked as I put the last box in her boot.

"Yeah, I think so"

"Let's go then"

"Okay, Bye Max" I said as I got in my car.

"Bye, see you tomorrow"

"Yep" I shouted out of the car as I drove away.

Unloading was easy, Shelia parked in a lower drive way than the one I went to the day before so we were able to carry the boxes into the house easier. Then she left me to it.

I spent ages sorting every little thing out, I had music blasting and stuff everywhere. But it slowly came together and looked like a bedroom which was lived in. My clothes were neatly put away in order of what they are then colour order. Promise that's the only thing I am OCD about.

Once I was finished it was 9:30 pm. I was too tired to try and cook anything so I just ordered pizza then ended up going straight to sleep once I had finished it.

Everyone asks why I still work for Max, we were together all through high school and then his dad passed down part of the business to him and he asked if I would work for him as his PA. It's always worked, even though we are no longer together. Max is the reason my parents and I started to argue. Dad didn't like him, even at school when we first met from the age of 9, all because his family was rich and thought they didn't work very much and mum just agreed with dad, it was the main thing that drove me away from my parents and started our terrible relationship. I never thought of Max as anything other than a normal person, even if he would sometimes spoil me but this was just like any other boyfriend would, he would take me out for a meal every now and again and buy me little gifts that I had pointed out

"Morning" I sang as I walked into Max's office.

"Someone had a good night sleep"

"And got to drive in their own car, and didn't get the evils off the car park lady"

"Wow! Didn't know you got the evils"

"She wants you mate" I said putting my bag under my desk

"Ew! What is she? Like 60?"

"You sound like a girl"

"So when do they get back?"

"Tomorrow. Do you know who they are? Or have you just got me into the first house you could find?"

"NO, don't worry. I know them! Did you really think I was that mean?"

"You can be"

"Oi, I am your boss!"

"And you would be lost without me"

"You are right" he said with a smirk, "They are great lads"

"Better be"

"They come back tonight not tomorrow" Max said looking at his phone.

"How do you know? It said the 24th in the book thing"

"One of them just text me. They got a different flight"

"Okay?"

"You can go home at lunch time"

"Why?"

"Their flight is at 3"

"Oh, thank you Max!" I said trying to fake a smile to hide my nerves.
