Dear Marcus,
You don't speak, you don't react, you don't listen. But you do see. You see the world like nobody else. You are aware that other people have lives just as in depth as yours. You don't care, but you know more than you want to know. Don't try to drown that out. Put it to good use. Try to help people. Listen for a change. Listen to what people are silently crying out for. Don't keep to yourself. There's someone who is calling out for you by not sharing their life with anyone, they're waiting for you. Allison. She listens, she knows, she cares. Talk to her, learn about her, share your stories. She'll brighten every aspect of what you see. She'll know what you don't tell anyone, because she gets it. She gets you.
