Letter Seventeen:
Melissa Marie Stevens
(Played by Blake Lively)Dear Mel,
Always writing in that notebook. Nobody knew what you were writing, not even me. I usually know that kind of stuff, but you were too good at hiding it. Just like you hide your happiness. Usually, people hide their sadness to look normal to others, but you hide your happiness to avoid looking too happy and too young to understand. While most of the class is stressing about something, you are fine, but you pretend to stress to fit in. You shouldn't hide your happiness. You may think it would be rude to flaunt your happiness while others are sad, but that's what they need. They need that ray of hope from you, don't hide it. Don't hide your happiness.
All the best,
Cameron
