Shadow had heard the Eevee. He was furious. How could she almost tell her! How dare she! Shadow growled, pacing back and forth. He heard paws hitting the ground and froze. He seeped into the shadows, ready to attack. Neon came bolting near the shadows, making Shadow jump and reveal himself. Shadow growled. "What do you want?" He demanded. Neon stood there, a devilish smile on her face. "Relax." She said, circling around Shadow, her fur shifting, showing many scars. "Stalking that fish-girl? What are you planning, exactly?" Neon asked. "N-none of your business." Shadow said, trying to sound confident, his mind full of fantasies of him and Waterlily. Slight blush fell across his face. "You can tell me, sweetheart..." She said, a tint of annoyance and anger in her voice. "Leave. Now." Shadow said, growling, as he thought of Neon killing Waterlily because she thought he wanted to kill her. Neon chuckled and walked away. Shadow sighed, collapsing. It was still dark, and he thought he could get some sleep.
