Parting of Ways

(Shadow's POV) 

Shadow walked out and immediately saw the dead body of Fate. "What happened!?" He roared. He checked for any sign of any attacks. "He... he was so sick and so weak... and so special and kind..." Vixen said, sobbing. "I'm sorry..." Waterlily said, but kept her distance from the fire-types. "um... Lady..? Are you Ocean...?" The little Torchic said, coming up to Waterlily. Waterlily jumped away from him. "N-no... my name is Waterlily." She said. The Torchic looked down sadly. Aimi growled. "Why Fate!?" She said, upset. But then, Shadow saw another lifeless corpse. The Charizard ran out of the house.  "Rainbow!" Sear cried, picking the body up. He spread his wings. "I have to tell him. I have to find and tell my trainer." The Charizard said, taking off. "Goodbye!" He called. "We better go as well." Vixen said. Her paw still holding Fate's. She looked down at Fate again. "Goodbye. And thanks." She said. Flicker, Flame, and Aimi followed her. But wait... if Sear wasn't talking about Jack does that mean he was force-captured...? Oh no... Shadow thought. Shadow hugged Vixen, rubbed noses with Flame, smiled at Flicker, and waved to Aimi. Waterlily just waved. "Welp, that better be us too!" Pika said, Bolt following. X growled at Strike, and followed. "We'll miss all of you," Shadow said to the Fire types and electric types. Strike sighed. "Welp, cya!" James said, waving his silver tail. Miki paused. "Uh... I really liked hanging with you guys. Maybe we'll see you soon!" Miki said, following them. Strike followed the finally, giving them a quick smile, and following. Starry began to walk away, when she mumbled; "My name's Luna..." Glory followed her. Crystal stopped. "Would you allow one more on your team of freaks...?" She said. "Of course!" Skitty, Shadow, and Dusk said at the same time. Crystal smiled competitively. "Well, the, let's not wait to be captured again. Come along." Crystal said, running into a forest that no one else traveled into.
