“Katherine,” she heard a whispered voice and rolled over groaning. “What do you want….” Her voice trailed off in shock and she jumped nearly screaming. “Aaron!” She leaped up still screaming and threw herself at him her weight and momentum knocking him over. “Your alive, your alive, your alive!” She squeled senselessly kissing his cheeks, holding his hands tightly, and still screeching.

“Katherine, Katherine, Katherine!” She leaped up at the sound of Michael’s angry voice. She stepepd back away from him as he helped Aaron up his eyes glowing white he moved toward his hand clenched. She felt a strange fear of him and as he got closer she felt actual heat flaring off him.

“Lucifer!” She screamed then slapped a hand over her mouth she hadn’t mean to say that she really hadn’t. But it was too late already forming in front of her was a huge black mass, black wings formed out of it then a high pale face. Then he was there and looking magnficent, a sword that seemed to have black fire licking along the edges washeld in his hands. His black eyes seemed bottomless and at that moment seemed to have a fire in them that burned into her eyes and saw her naked soul.

“You called to him,” Michael’s voice seemed worried greatly worried, “and he came.” Katherine was startled but she saw what Lucifer was about to do.

“No!” The cry came too late and he slammed into Michael his sword nearly taking off his head. “No, stop!” She saw Michael’s wings ripping free of his back and they terrified her, these wings were nothing like the gentle golden wings she’d seen before. These were dark ruby red and had flames lickign along the edges, armor began to cover his chest an arms a sword of his own makign growing in his hands. He swung and Lucifer gave an enreaged cry his own black wings seemed to erupt growing larger with every second black spikes growing on them and fire ran along the edges, armor grew over his entire body and his sword grew larger more deadly. Her joy was crushed and repalced by huge panic and fear, Fear that made her heart beat wildly and something happened inside her. Some restraint snapped every little thing that had happened since Tristan’s death seemed be comign back to her.

Feuling her anger and senseless rage. She rose up feeling anger, fear, pain course through her, She stared at the two warring archangels. Michael in all his fiery red glory, fighting and hacking for his life. Lucifer clad in black and fighting like the devil, her mouth quirked up since he was the devil that meant he could kill… Her body sezied in terror. “Stop, stop!” She screamed raggedly. She saw Aaron’s attack before Lucifer could  Aaron slammed dwon on him and Lucifer went to his knees. “No!” She shrieked and ran across the room leaping over things and tripping she threw herself ontop of him ready to take Michael’s blade for him.  “Please,” she was shaking but her relove was firm as she shieled him with her own body ready to die. She gazed down on his confused face his black eyes stared into her dark blue ones. She wondered how she must look, not showered in three days, her curly black hair in waves down to her shoulder, and dark blue eyes locked unwavering on his own.

“Your wlling to die for the one who wants to kill you?” Lucifer asked his eyes wide with astonishment.

“You came for me when I called, I will never sit by and watch you fight and die.” She said her hand finding and gripping his own.

“I love you,” he said not bothering with any complitcations. Just saying it. “That’s why I can’t let you do this.” In less than a moment he lifted her his eyes seeking her forgivness and his lips findign hers in a spilt second before he tossed her onto her bed. Right before the sword came down stabbing into his shoulder and letting his blood flow.

“NO!” Katherine raced to him tumbling down besdie him kissing his forhead, his hair, anything of him she could touch while all the while gasping with tears. “Please, no, omigod.” She stared up at Michael tears streaming unhidden down her face. “How could you? You knew what he meant to me.” She stared into his pale blue eyes before turning back to Lucifer. “Please,” she gripped his hand holding it to her cheek. “Please, help me.” She sobbed looking up with pleading eyes at Aaron and Michael. Her eyes turned back to him, “please don’t leave me.”
