The White Room.

Kaira's POV

I was dropped into that white room that I had started out in, the Reaper was next to me. There were people in the distance but I couldn't make out who they were. It was a guy and a girl that much I could make out.

There was something familiar about them. There body language, the physic. The way they walked. For a while I didn't move, just trying to find out what was going on.

Obviously we were back in limbo, or purgatory, or something. That much I understood. But why were there other people here?

"Who are they?" I asked the Reaper.

"You know I have a name, and it's not 'Reaper.'" He told me. I look up at him with fake shock and wide eyes. He starts laughing at me. 'Who knew that the Reaper could have a sense of humor?'

"My name is- " He got cut off by, a voice. He said my name.

"Kaira??" The voice sounded so close yet as a whisper at the same time. I looked around, the only person I saw was the Reaper. Then I realized something, the two people were missing.

"Kaira, look at me." I look at the Reaper, who I thought had said something. It wasn't him.

It was Roree.

Roree's POV

I'm stumped. I don't know how I got to this place. It was pitch black, but then it was like the lights turned on.

What was this place? I turn towards Tessa, eyeing her wearily.

She looked up at me, her eyes a paper white color. I look away slightly scared only to see two people a good distance away. I didn't know who they were, but because this place looked never-ending, I thought it would be a good idea to see who they were.

There was a guy and a girl, she looked familiar even from such a far distance away.

It was Kaira. She was looking at use with what looked like the same expression as I was giving her. I look to Tessa again this time her eyes are back to normal. She has tears in her eyes like she can't believe that her sister is here with us.

But where was I? Where were we?

"You're in the in between. The place you go when you blink, she called in purgatory." She said pointing to Kaira.

"She was here for 2 years before she woke up in her world, and died in yours. You were here once too, but in her world not yours." Tessa continued.

Kaira was talking to the guy, with her distracted I ran over to her, she grew her hair out. She looked older. Like life has changed her and warped her in a way it hadn't done to me.

'She must have lived longer in her world than she did in mine.' I thought about it for a second before doing something ive been meaning to do since i found out it was her.

"Kaira?" She looked up at me with worry, shock, amusement, and something else in her eyes.

"ROREE!" She practically yelled at me while tackling us both to the ground. There she lay, perfectly on top of me. My whole world was right here. She looked at me with what I could only believe to be nothing but love and happiness. Worry and stress.

"Reapers, you may leave us now."

We look up at the same time to see the woman who brought me here. Well in a way. Maybe I should say the woman who allowed me to come here. Yeah, that sounded better.

"Kaira, Roree, you are both here because you've made the decision to leave the lives you have been living to see each other once more-" The woman started to said.

"Once more? All I get is one more time to see him again? Is that all I get? What was the point in this? You lied to me! You told me we would be together again. You left information out of this. So what you're saying is that I died so that I could be with him only one more time!?!? What th-" Kaira all but yelled at the lady.

"Hush child, you didn't let me finish." She looked at me like I was the only one who could stop her rant. Which wasn't true. AT ALL!

"Sorry." She mumbled back at the lady.

"I am Fate, I have given both of you the chance to see each other once more before you go back to your world. The both of you will remember what has happened to you within your world's. Use that knowledge wisely.

"I have given you both this chance as a reward for passing my tests. You, Kaira, lasted 5 years in your world before my test was activated. And you, Roree, only 2. You lost him after a day, and you lost her after the 2 years. You both have gone through a tough battle fighting to be with each other, and you have both successfully completed my challenge. You make wake up once more and take your reward."

Then just like that she left.

And then everything went black.
