It's not just the day of the track meet its the day of my hopes. Today I will find out if Zack still cares for me. My hair flows back as I walk to my club. I search around, I don't see him. I search again , I still don't see him. An hour has past ah here he was taller mm ore muscular and his eyes gleaming of golden brown. He was smiling with his straight white teeth and uplifted eyes, he looked better than I remembered. I gasped for air and turned around quickly. My long jump was called out and I needed to go there. I was at long jump as he came passing by the Pitt,he was almost hovering around the area I was in. My heart was racing when he stood there and watched my event for a bit. It got me really nervous to the extreme. Long jump was over and I was walking back to my clubs tent with my friend, and then I saw him. My face went tomato red. " hey are you feeling alright? You look really red." She said curious. I was embarrassed, I can't believe my face went red when I saw him. How can I stop this from happening!! " Yeah it's just blazing hot." I said lying. " yeah it is pretty hot I understand." She said right after. Zack was about to do his 100m dash and Amanda and I watched. Zack came around close to me "Good job Zack" I say. I could have said anything but I said that, I'm so stupid! "Thanks" he says not even knowing who said it. "Amy" Amanda said " he's smiling like crazy after you said that!" I was shocked my heart started to slow down I felt joy inside, I didn't know what to say.
An hour later
I went by the fence with my friend to do stretches and then here he comes, Zack walked over to us with his friend. They were just hanging around us for no reason. Did this mean something!? I stated to do a stretch then Zack looked at me and did the same one. Did this mean something, does this mean he wants to be near me. I was scared and was feeling shock what if I do something stupid and he sees what if I'm a weirdo and he sees that and walks away I was scared. But j was smiling because he was near me. My emotions were confusing me, I got goose bumps and chills he was making me so nervous.
It got to then end of the track meet and he stared at me as I left... I think he likes me he was all I could think about he was all that was in my mind. I was happy
