Dani P.O.V
Today is the last day before Lisa leaves and I'm scared, we will be able to go with her but it's just that we won't see her, we will be able to see her showing off her skills for the Presidents. I know saying this would be bad but Lisa dosen't really have a chance at winning at all. I can't believe all of this is happening, Lauren feels the worst though, they were so close and now Lisa basically just sacrificed herself for her.
"Dani can I talk to you?" Lisa asked me and I nodded and I followed her outside. She motioned me to take a seat which I did and she did the same.
"Dani, I need you to be strong okay?" She started and I knew what this talk was about and I couldn't stop the tears from falling.
"Dan, don't cry okay, your too beautiful to cry understand?" She told me and I tried to hold back the tears.
"I need you to do well in school for me and to listen to whatever your older sisters say to do okay?" She tells me and I nodded.
"Make sure your their for them whenever they need you okay and please don't go down a bad path please, once an infant always a infant" she says and I chuckled a little bit while nodded. Infant was my nickname for her and I hated it but now I'm gonna miss her calling me it.
"Lisa please don't go" I say softly and hug her and she immediately started stroking my hair.
"I know I know, I'll always be with you though and if you have to look away you look away from the screen okay" she tells me and I nodded and calmed down a bit.
"I have to go talk to the others but please continue being an angel for me okay?" She tells me and I nodded.
"Anything for you Lise" I said and hugged her again and then she got up and walked inside.
Katherine P.O.V
Lisa asked if she could talk to me so I accepted and we went into my room and sat down on my bed.
"Kath promise me you will take care of the younger ones" she starts off and I nodded.
"Always" I said and she smiled.
"You've always been just like mom Kath, she would be so proud." She said and then I started tearing up.
"Always remember that okay, and no matter what happens to me you live your life with no regrets understood" she said and I nodded.
"Lisa you have to try and fight okay" I tell her and she sighs.
"I know..... I just don't want to kill anyone" she tells me and I nodded, I wouldn't want to kill anyone either but no this world has to be sick in the head.
"I'll always be with you Kath and never forget it" she continues
"You make sure the younger ones keep up with their schoolwork and make sure they stay on a good path, guide them and just be there for them okay?" She tells me and I nodded and pulled her into a big hug.
My baby sister is gonna leave me and there's nothing I can do about it, that's the absolute worst feeling in the freaking world. I hope she try's but even if she does she probably won't get far considering none of us know how to fight.
"I love you Lisa" I whispered into her ear
"Love you too Kath" she said and got up and then walked out of the room. God I'm gonna miss her so freaking bad!
Christina P.O.V
I can't believe my baby sister is going into the hunger games, it's just not fair! Losing our parents was hard enough but losing Lisa? It's unbearable, she's the one who gets us food, she's the one has the best advice and most of all she's the one who's always there.
Just then Lisa walked into the living room where I was sitting and sat next to me. I do not like where this is going at all.
"Christina... You have to protect the others okay, make sure they go to school, feed them and make sure they have a good life even if I'm not in it anymore" she tells me and I shake my head.
"There is no life without you Lisa!" I half shouted and she sighed and grabbed my hand.
"Yes there is, everything happens for a reason okay, I'll always be with you in spirit and I will watch over you. Just promise me if I go you have to move on okay" she said and I started tearing up, no Christina you have to be strong don't cry.
"But Lisa I ju-" I was cut off my Lisa speaking again
"Promise me Christina it's my dying wish that you move on from me okay and protect the younger ones especially Lauren." She tells me and I nod slowly.
"Anything for you Lisa" I said and pulled her into the biggest hug I probably ever did.
"Love you Chrissy, you've been the greatest role model I could ever have" she said which made me hug her even tighter.
"Love you too Lise, never forget it" I told her and we pulled away and she wiped the teas away from my eyes and we smiled at each other. I don't think I could ever be more proud in my entire life. I watched as she walked back into her own room until the door was closed where I couldn't see her anymore. I hope you try and win Lisa I really hope you do.
Amy P.O.V
I'm sitting on Lisa's bed just admiring all of her possessions until I heard footsteps Coke into the room and I saw that it was Lisa. She walked in and shut the door behind her and sat next to me.
"Ames.." She said and I just looked at her with tears in my eyes and she sighed.
"Come here" she said and pulled me into a warm and loving hug, she gives the best hugs ever I swear.
"Lisa I don't want you to go" I whisper and she nods.
"I know and neither do I but I have to okay, I'll always be with you no matter what okay Ames" she tells me and I nodded while sniffling.
"I don't want you to cry over me okay, you gotta stay strong no matter what" she tells me and I nodded.
I put my hand on my neck and felt my necklace that our dad gave to me and I've always thought of it as luck so I took it off and looked at it. It was a hawk because he always said I had hawk eyes, dam I miss him.
"Here Lisa" I said giving her the necklace and her eyes widened.
"No Amy I can't take this, dad gave it to you" she said and I shook my head.
"And now I'm giving it to you, your gonna need it" I tell her and she sighed and I have it to her and she put it around her neck.
"You look beautiful Lise, where it in the games and be proud of it, do it for dad" I tell her and she nods.
"I love you Ames" she tells me and I smiled as she kissed my forehead.
"Love you too Lise" I said and she got up and walked out the door and I sulked back down, I hope she wins.
Lauren P.O.V
I'm sitting in the backyard staring up at the sky, why did Lisa do it? It was supposed to be me not her ME!
"Why Lisa why did you do it" I muttered while ripping some of the grass out of the ground.
"Because your my baby sister and it's my job to protect you" I heard someone say and I turned around to see Lisa leaning up against the house. I turned away from her because I can't face her, I just can't.
I hear her walking up to me and she sat down next to me.
"Lauren I wanted to do this okay, I can't have my ladybug go through that he'll." She tells me and I look down.
"Lauren look at me, everything is gonna be okay" she tells me and I shake my head.
"How is you dying mean everything is gonna be okay!" I shouted at her with tears coming down my face and she wrapped me into a hug.
"Thanks for the confidence in me Laur" she said laughing but I just held her tighter.
"You don't have any fighting skills Lisa, you can't win!" I shot at her and she sighs.
"You'd be surprised with what I know Laur, promise me though that no matter what happens you will live your life to the greatest okay" she tells me and I shake my head
"Lauren promise me now" she said sternly and I just slowly nodded
"And besides I've been in danger since I was 13 Lauren" she tells me and my eyes widened, what did she mean by that?
"What do you mean?" I asked her and she shook her head.
"That's something for you to figure out yourself" she told me and I nodded. She then pulled out something shiny in her pocket and I realized it was a knife, where on earth did she get this?!
"Take it Lauren, you gotta protect your sisters okay" she told me and she put it in my hands. I looked at it and it had "Lisa" carved in it.
"How did you get this?" I asked her
"Dad gave it to me, I've carried it on me ever since" she told me and I nodded, how did she not get busted by the peacekeepers though? Well that's probably something I'll find out later on in life.
"Have you ever used it before?" I asked her and she nodded and my eyes went wide.
"I did some things that would get us our food and I'm not proud of it but it made us survive" she told me and I nodded.
"Now Lauren promise me you won't cry okay?" She told me and I nodded
"As long as you promise me you will fight and win" I tell her and she nodded
"I'll win just for you Laur" she said and pulled me into a big hug which I gladly accepted and I snuggled my head into her neck.
Soon enough darkness took over me and I was thinking about what will come of tomorrow.
