Lisa P.O.V
I woke up to see me inches away from Clayton's sleeping face, I could honestly just kiss him right now if I wanted to and it was tempting but I knew this was being broadcasted so no thanks.
I squirmed out of Clayton's arms and quietly stood up, wow I'm not feeling to much pain. I stretch my arms out and look at Clayton's sleeping body. I'll let him sleep since he's been up most of the night probably.
I lifted up my shirt to check the bandage and surprisingly there was barley any blood, thank god it stopped! I saw that the fire went out and all that remained was burnt sticks and charred stones.
I looked over at my bag and saw my bow next to it and I walked over and grabbed it. I checked the stringing to see if it was still in good shape and it actually was! I grabbed my bag and looked in it and all I saw was a few red berries and then the poison berries, we need some more food.
I look over at Clayton and he's still asleep, I grab some leaves and grass and place it over him, hopefully it will camouflage him a little bit more. I stand up and grab my bag and sling it over my shoulder and I quietly left the bushes and went into the open forest.
I gripped my bow in my sweaty hands and I looked around for any type of animal or even berries. I walk around for about 15 minutes when I spotted another rabbit, this one was bigger than the last one so this should hold us over for at least 2 days.
I brought my bow up into shooting position and locked the rabbit in my cross hairs and then let the arrow fly. It soared right into the rabbits head, God I hate killing animals but it's the only way to survive. I walked over to the rabbit and quickly skinned it and shoved it in my bag.
When I looked up I saw another bunny and I quickly reached for another arrow and placed it in my bow, aimed and let my arrow soar which ended up hitting the bunny right in the heart. I walked over and skinned that one as well and placed it in my bag and that's when I heard voices yelling.
I looked around and saw a tree that's was covered in leaves and I jumped onto a branch and pulled myself up and started climbing higher. Not even 10 seconds later did I see 2 people running, a boy and a girl and I watched as the girl fell down and the boy stopped to help her but just as he turned around something hit him in the chest and he went flying backwards.
I watched as Devin and his "posse" emerged from the bushes and Devin approached the boy smirking.
"Running just made everything worse" he spoke in a cold tone and I watched as he picked up his axe and slammed it into the boys head. God dam that boy was about 15, no one deserves that. I watched as one of the girls, I think her name is Becky as she approached the other girl who was crying her eyes out and pleading for them not to kill her but all Becky did was placed her hands on the girls neck,
"SNAP" was the only sound I heard as I watched the girl fall to the ground and soon enough I heard 2 cannons going off and I immediately felt pity for the both of them.
"Let's get out of here we have 5 more to kill" Devin said as he walked into the opposite direction that I have to go with his group following. I waited about 10 minutes before I climbed down. I saw 2 red roses to the side and I picked the both of them and quickly placed them on both of the bodies.
I gripped my bag and started running back towards me and Clayton's spot and once I got there I saw Clayton with his face in his hands.
"Clay?" I whispered and his head snapped up and once he saw me his eyes lit up and he ran over and hugged me.
"I thought you were dead! Where the heck were you!?" He whispered-shouted at me.
"Well we needed more food, and I saw the people who died, it was a boy and a girl and their deaths were from Devin and Becky." I tell him and he nodded but still had a bit of anger on his face.
"You should of woke me up to go with you" he told me sternly and I shrugged.
"You needed rest" I told him simply as I sat down on a rock.
"So did you!" He shouted and I gave him a death glare.
"Shut up do you want us to get killed?" I asked him and he shut his mouth really quick but instead went over to a tree and punched it. God dammit, I got up and walked over to Clayton.
"Clay I'm right here chill out alright" I tell him but he just turned away from me and sat on the rock. I've never seen him like this and quite frankly I don't like it. Just let him have some space Lisa, he needs to chill out. I sat down on the floor and leaned up against the tree.
Well hopefully things won't get worse will they?
Lauren P.O.V
Wow, Lisa almost got caught by that group! If she did she would be long gone by now, thank god she was able to climb that tree so fast. I look over at the others and see that they all have a relieved face.
I watched as she ran all the way back to her little hiding spot and once she got there I watched as Clayton hugged her, Awww. I wish I could hear what their saying, I watch as Clayton practically yelled at Lisa. What the hell?! He went and punched a tree as well and I looked at Amy and she looked scared as well.
Something obviously happened to make him get mad like that, because from what I've heard Clayton was always a chill and nice guy but that was way out of character for him. I hope they get past their differences soon because they need to work together to actually have a shot in winning this thing.

A/N: Here's the next chapter guys!! I was hoping to update sooner but I had to come in clutch and do my hw and some of my friends hw cuz we both didn't do it 😂 But I did mwhahaha and also got a update for y'all so I'm pretty satisfied! Anyways tell me what y'all thought about it and honestly writing his was soooo weird cuz I just got new glasses and everyone was like are ur eyes purple cuz of the reflection from the lenses and I'm like nah they blue yo! Love y'all!
