Shooting Stars

Dani P.O.V
OH MY GOD! LISA! She just got hit with a knife and now all I see is a whole bunch of blood from her stomach. I think I'm gonna vomit, I look to my right and see that Amy already beat me to it because she just liked al over the floor. I watch as Kath is trying to help her but she's crying herself, I look at Christina and she's just frozen in place, shocked I guess.
Lauren is what scares me though, she's on the ground shaking violently and I see hot tears pour down her face. I'm bawling myself but I manage to walk over to Lauren and pull her into a hug and for once she didn't try to get out of it, she looked into my eyes and then just buried her head into my chest.
God this is killing me, just watching your older sister dying right in front of you and you can't do a single thing about it, it's just heartbreaking.
Christina P.O.V
My baby sister could be dead within a few hours and I can't do anything about it. I'm supposed to protect them but looked how that turned out, my sisters crying and one of them near death, great freaking job Christina. Mom and dad must be real freaking proud of you, real proud for letting one of there children and your own dam sibling lay on their death bed.
I look at my sisters and see Kath trying to help Amy and Dani holding a crying Lauren, wait Dani is holding a crying Lauren? Lauren is actually crying? God dammit, I turn my attention back to the screen and see that Clayton is holding Lisa's hand, if it wasn't in a situation like this it would of been really cute.
I just really hope Clayton will protect Lisa from here on out because if anything happens to Lisa I honestly won't forgive myself but if something happens to Lisa and Clayton could of stopped it I won't ever forgive him either.
Clayton P.O.V
Lisa has been out for a few hours now and it's honestly scaring me, I changed her bandage about 3 times now and the bleeding finally started to stop but not fully. So far everything has been pretty quiet around here which is good.
Lisa looks really pale though, most likely from the blood loss though. I grabbed a water out of my bag and took a small sip from it and took out a few berries to munch on.
I wonder how my brothers are holding up, hopefully they are alright and well. Hopefully they aren't super scared or upset because I really don't want them worrying about me but I know they will.
I heard a small groan and I snapped my head to Lisa and saw her eyes starting to open. I quickly got up from my sitting position and moved over next to Lisa and grabbed her hand.
"Hey Lisa" I said softly to her and she tried to sit up but I didn't let her.
"No Lisa you have to rest" I tell her and I hear her groan again, though I don't know if that was from the pain or the fact that she can't sit up yet.
"Clay are you okay?" She asked me weakly and I nodded at her.
"Yeah just a scratch, nothing serious and it's you I'm worried about" I tell her and she smiles weakly.
"Now the tea question is how do you feel?" I ask her.
"I feel like I've been through hell and back" she tells me and I chuckle, she basically has been to hell and back though.
"How many tributes left Clay?" She asked me and I took a moment to think, I think 11 are left so basically 9 others.
"11 including us I believe" I tell her and she nodded.
"We just have to wait it out then" Lisa said and I nodded.
"You hungry at all?" I asked her and she nodded. I got up and walked to my bag and pulled out the rest of the rabbit back over to Lisa and started to make a really tiny fireplace.
I placed the rabbit over it and let it sit for a bit and in the meantime I have Lisa a few berries to snack on.
"Is this fire gonna make us noticeable?" She asked me and I shook my head no.
"I made it where the smoke wouldn't go above me" I told her and she nodded, thank god I took that little course during our training days.
After about half an hour I decided that it was cooked enough and I took the rabbit off the fire and let the fire sit. I whipped out my dagger and cut the rabbit in half and gave some to Lisa and some to me.
We ate it in silence and the only noise you heard was the crackling of the fire. When we finished eating I chucked the bones in the bush behind me and lied down and looked up at the sky.
We may be in some stupid dome but it still doesn't effect the beautiful night sky overhead. I suddenly felt a really cold breeze hit me and I shivered a little bit and I sat up and looked at Lisa who looked really cold.
I went over to her and wrapped my arms around her and she flinched when I touched her but once she saw me she relaxed.
She relaxed into the hug and we both lied down, honestly I felt safer with Lisa next to me and soon enough I heard her soft snores and I watched as she moved her head into my chest. Wow she's adorable when she's asleep but luckily she isn't hurting too badly which is good.
I looked back up at the sky and saw some stars in the sky and boy did it look beautiful. I kept looking at the sky when something caught my eye, something falling from the sky. I think it's a.... Shooting star! Wow!
I closed my eyes and started to make a wish.
"I wish that we will survive this together" I muttered softly and I reopened my eyes to see the sight of the beautiful lit up night sky. God if only we weren't in this situation and could actually enjoy this.
I hope we get out of this alive, I at least want Lisa to win because she needs to be with her sisters and as much as I want to be with my brothers, Lisa needs her sisters more and Lisa's sisters need her too. Please god let us live through this please!

A/N: Holy crap guys IM SORRY I HAVENT UPDATED IN LIKE 3 DAYS!!! I was on brake too but it was really crazy and tbh when I'm not in school I don't get inspired to write idk I'm weird like that 😂 and plus it's harder since I have finals in like a week and I have a Italian final and a lab practical on my birthday like wtf!! Ugh 5 days till that 😭 but anyways hoped y'all liked the chapter!! Tell me what y'all thought of it!
