Leo's P.O.V:

We finished eating our tacos as we watched a movie. Kimberly was still leaning against me. My mom was in the recliner watching the movie with us.

When the movie was over, my mom suggested that Kimberly could just stay over, but I would sleep on the couch as she took my bed. We all agreed to that. My mom went into the other room to go tell Amy.

Kimberly followed me upstairs. When I opened my bedroom door, Kimberly's face lit up.

"Oh my gosh, I haven't been in this room in forever! It still looks pretty much the same," she exclaims.

I laughed.

She walked inside my room, running her fingers over the walls. She reaches the bookshelf and knelt down. I watch her examine the heart, that she had carved years ago.

"I still can't believe it's still here!" she shouts.

I chuckle at her excitement.

"Are you okay now?" I asked, still concerned of what had happened.

Kimberly turns back towards me, "Yeah, of course," she says slowly, avoiding eye contact with me.

"Kimberly, be honest," I command.

She lets out a sigh.

"Fine, I'm not okay, but coming over was a good idea. It's kept my mind of everything."

I nod.

"You like being here?" I asked, shocked at the fact that she doesn't hate me.

"Of course I do. Leo, we were best friends when we were kids. You don't remember but I surely do. It's not your fault that you can't remember how much fun we had, but for me, I'd like to continue on our friend as you begin," Kimberly explains.

I grin," That sounds wonderful."

Kimberly runs over to me and hugs me tightly.

I hug her back.

I pulled away and walked over to my  dresser. I pulled out a drawer and rummaged through it. I  flung a T-shirt  and a pair of sweatpants at Kimberly.

"I'm not sure if those will fit, but it'll do," I say turning towards to Kimberly, holding some clothes in my  hand for myself, " You can change in here. I'll go in the bathroom and change. Come downstairs when your done." I said smiling.

I  walked out of the room closing the door behind me

I went into the bathroom to change and then headed downstairs to wait for Kimberly. I sat on the couch. A few minutes later, Kimberly came downstairs, wearing my shirt and sweatpants. The shirt was a bit long on her and I'm sure the waist band of the pants were a bit big.

She came over and curled up next to me on the couch. She rested her head on my chest as we started watching another movie.

When the movie was over, I looked over at Kimberly. Her eyes were closed and she was fast asleep. I lifted her head up gently and slid out. Then I picked up across my arms and carried her upstairs. I set her down softly on my bed. I pulled a blanket over her and kissed her forehead.

As I pulled away, I thought I had saw her smile, but it was probably just my imagination. I walked out of my room and laid down on the couch.
