Chapter 10: A New Begining

Kimberly's P.O.V:

I stretched and rolled over. It took me a moment to realize that I was in Leo's room. I sat up slowly.  I changed back into the clothes I had on yesterday. I folded his clothes and set them on his bed. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand. Then I went downstairs, hoping I wouldn't run into anyone. 

I had made it out of their house. I walked back to my house. I swung open the door to find Spencer sitting on my couch. I rolled my eyes. 

"What do you think you are doing?" I snap.

"I think I'm trying to win you back,"Spencer states.

"It's not gonna happen."

"Why? Is it because of that boy's house you ran to yesterday?" he blurted.

"Get out!" I shouted angrily.

Spencer didn't move.

"I said get out. Spencer, I don't want you here," I addressed, pausing at his name.

We continued being friends after he broke up with me. We were okay. We were happy as friends. He ruined it. He ruined it again. Did he even care? Probably not.

Spencer remained sitting on the couch. I rolled my eyes and went upstairs, hoping he wouldn't follow me.

I slammed the door to my room. I changed quickly into comfy clothes. Then I flopped on my bed. My phone vibrated. I looked at my phone to see who messaged me.

<Leo the Roaring Lion: >

Hope everything is okay. You left early.

Leo? When did he put his number in my phone?

< Me:> 

I didn't want to be a bother. He's downstairs, he won't leave.

I wait for a response, when I hear a knock at my door.

"Go away!" I shout.

"Feisty, are we?" a voice answered through the door.

The door opened slowly. It was Leo.

"Sorry," I mumbled.

"It's okay, he's gone now," Leo assured me.

I gasp.

"How did you make him leave?"

"I didn't, he was gone when I came in, your Mom let me in by the way," he explained.

I was silent for a moment.

"Leo the roaring lion?" I ask giggling.

"Kimmy the gorgeous kitten," Leo smiles.

I chuckle.

"Are you serious!?" I exclaim.

"Yes, that's your contacts name, I'm not kidding," Leo explains.

"You think I'm pretty?" I ask, confused and a bit excited.

"No, you're beautiful," he stated.

I smile and blush. I hoped that he didn't notice I was blushing.

"Oh my gosh, you are totally flirting with me!" I giggle.

"And you are totally loving every minute of it," Leo smiles.

I couldn't stop smiling. 

Leo walked over to me and sat next to me on my bed.  He leaned in and kissed me. A few seconds later, he pulled away. 

"Remember me, Leo, remember me," I whispered to him.

Leo shook his head slowly and looked at the ground.

"I'm trying,but I just can't," Leo explained. 

He turned on his heels and left my room.

Butterflies filled my stomach. It was odd feeling. I felt hurt and excited at the same time. He kissed me! He kissed me!! I needed to tell Willow everything!
