Shining day today, what a shame it's a school day. Honestly I would give anything to not go today, I would feel delighted to lie on a sandy beach, hear the sounds of the waves, and the birds whisking by. But, I have to go. I have to see Felix and tell him about my dream. I don't know why I'm so eager to discuss my dream to him, but I feel like I need to. The dream felt real, like really, really real.
I do my regular routine before I always drive off to school. In my car, turn on the ignition and the car roars to life. I drive fast in a hurry.
***
I spot Kelly before anyone else, I see no Felix in sight. I frown, usually ever since we've been talking he would always wait in the car park, he usually does. But he isn't there; I reluctantly ask Kelly if she's seen him around - since she likes him and all.
Kelly frowns when I ask her.
"Felix? Who's Felix?" Her eyes narrow, she pauses as if concentrating but ends up with nothing.
"C'mon, don't play dumb." I chuckle, though Kelly confirmed she has no idea who he is. "Sandy hair, green eyes. Tall, handsome..." while I'm saying this, Kelly is shaking her head.
"You sure he goes to this school? He sounds hot, but... I don't know him." She says apologetically, and then looks at the ground thinking again.
Right on cue, Julia is striding towards us. Her vivid red curly hair bouncing.
I ask Julia the same thing, her and Kelly share a confused look. They actually look like they're thinking pretty hard. But, Rose claims she has no idea. I do the most reasonable thing and ask everyone who knows him. No one knows him. What the hell? Am I going crazy, is this a dream?
I run for my car, my heart racing. And I speed off to his house. I knock so hard on his door my knuckles form purple blisters. After about possibly 100 knocks in total, the door answers. A man stands in the door way, he has dark hair and crystal blue eyes. He looks familiar, but I just can't remember who he is. He looks mid 40's, though I could tell he was once handsome, perhaps still is.
"Yes?" He says, raising his eyebrows. Is that amusement in his eyes?
"Where is he?" I demand. I push him out of his way; he yelps in surprise but doesn't protest.
"What are you looking for? What do you want?" He pleads.
I search hungrily in the room looking for signs of him. The guy grabs my arm and turns me around, so I'm facing directly at him. He looks so familiar...
I use my power; will myself to compel him to shut up. I urge my ability to put strange thoughts in his head so he could go ride a bike or something and get the hell out of my way.
He stands immobilized, a glazing look in his eyes and slowly walks away.
I hear a low chuckle nearby, "Ha. Young lady, you remind me so well of your mother." A tall guy emerges from the shadows. His silhouette shapes a broad man, maybe 6" tall walking towards me.
Anger boils inside me; my face is probably looking like one of those oompa loompas in Charlie the chocolate factory. I grit my teeth so hard they'll probably crack or something. I dig my nails so far into my palms I already feel blood making its way through my nails. The guy comes into view, I hold my breath. It's the guy from the dream. With the dark straight hair, and those cold, cold amber eyes. He regards me coolly, but his eyes glint with a kind of sadness, maybe? I don't know. But this guy, I want to punch him so hard. I do the thing that pops into my head. I kick him in the face, grab his collar and push him against the wall. Okay, I learnt martial arts - my mother suggested it, to calm my anger and all. Don't blame me; I'm a short tempered girl. He laughs, which is odd because I have him against the wall. "DON'T TALK ABOUT HER." I yell. "WHO ARE YOU," I demand.
He's still laughing. I use my power because I want this guy going Cray, Cray. I amid so many thoughts into his head to make him go nuts. He starts gasping for air, tears well into his eyes. I stand there looking at him in a cold, cold way. He crumbles to the floor, his hands grasping the air. I'm making him feel like his drowning in a coffin of snakes. This goes on for about a minute, when a warm hand touches my arm. I flinch, and suddenly my power goes off. Its Felix beside me, tell me to stop. The guy with the emotionless amber eyes is now on the floor crying like a baby.
"That's enough," Felix says softly.
Now it's my turn to gasp for air, all that energy used, it tired me. I feel fatigued, weak in my legs but I stand my ground.
On the floor, the man stands his ground too. He rises and laughs. Laughs? What the hell.
"You have a lot of strength," He says, grinning with those cold amber eyes. "We could use you,"
What is he on about? Beside me, Felix tenses and curses under his breath.
All of a sudden, all hell breaks loose. People in black-I-don't-know-what 'secret agent' clothing wear, with leather jackets and black slacks charge into the room. A gag is pulled tightly over my mouth. I muffle a scream, my martial arts instinct kick in. I kick the person behind me; I do a front flip and elbow the man in the black leather wear in his nose. Felix is among those people staring at me, his eyes emotionless. I fight off about 3 of the agent people; I kick, slam, and dodge. I stop in my tracks, I feel so tired, so, so tired. I could sleep on this floor. Then I realized I'm being drugged. My eyelids feel heavy, I drop to the floor but am caught with a very strong arm. "Sleep," I mutter.
A soothing voice calms me down. I hear a guy's voice screaming at someone, "What are you doing? You lied... you lied... you piece of shit!" its felix voice but I don't care, I just want to sleep.
"There, there sweetheart. You're safe now, where your mother once was." The soothing voices sing songs.
"YOU LIED! Where is he? You made a deal! I want him back..." I didn't hear the rest of Felix's voice because I fall asleep and plunge into darkness.
