With getting a boyfriend checked off my to-do list, I was comfortably cruising my way through completing the first fairytale of the five I had to restore, and I was pretty proud of myself.

I quickly discovered that not having any friends wasn't a problem here, and anytime it got too awkard for me, all I had to do was liplock with Ryan , which was apparently socially acceptable at this wreck of a school.

The blonde girl, who I learnt was actually named, Emma seemed to be paying more attention to me, which was especially convenient for me since I was goignto be following Ryan's football schedule for today, where the cheerleading squad would be practicing. It's wierd how such a devious person could have such an innocent sounding name like Emma.

With all the pieces of the puzzle slowly snapping into place, I breezed through my day, slinging myself close to Ryan's Adonis-like body as a parasite would with an unsuspecting animal and waited as the clock slowly dragged towards the end of the school day.

Fastforward to football practice, I was sitting on the burning metal bleachers, trying to figure out the game of football. Any time Ryan went running around recieving high-fives, I was supossed to stand up and cheer until my vocal chords snapped.

My hair had been lifted into a ponytail to escape the stream of sweat that trickled down the back of my neck. I sighed as the last drop of water dissapeared from my bottle. Stupid human dehydration.

My thoughts were interrupted by a sharp tapping on my shoulder, which I brushed off, staring at the game. This time, the sharp tapping intensified, and I turned around to find that Emma was standing right there, glaring at me.

I rocketed out of my seat so Emma could sit down, not even flinching as her bare, sc legs came in contact with the burning surface of the bleachers, but simply crossing one leg pver the other.

She had also come alone, which was a change from the norm since her usual possé was practicng at the corner of the field. Panicking, I unleashed my charm on her, which immedeatly relaxed her face into an open, dimpled smile,"Hey, I'm Emma."

"I'm Felix." I made a mental not to sound dumber.

"You're hot, you're Ryan's girlfriend, and you're new", She chewed her gum faster,"Would you like to join the squad?"

"Really? That's it? Don't I need to try out? I'm pretty good."

She laughed, throwing her hair back,"That's cute", she got up, throwing a cheerleader's uniform next to me.

"This is two sizes too small for me", I grimaced, looking at the tag of the uniform.

Giggling, she playfully slapped my arm,"Oh you're so silly, that's the point!" She hopped off the bleachers and ran back to the team.

Taking the oppertunity to draw my Charm back into my body, I decided I was going to play fair; which meant no Charm unless it was on Ryan, or it was an emergency. For all I knew, she could be an evil stepsister and I just befriended her: If I wasn't careful with my Charm, I could be stuck in this dimension forever!

I tucked the red and gold uniform in my bag, and returned to the field, which had emptied itself to prep for the game against a rival school, and muttered curses under my breath through halftime in order to gain Rosemont points.

In fact, by the next day the county paper had written an article about Rosemont setting a new state record for touchdowns in a high school league. This news was especially good for me because Ryan, who played as the wide reciever took extra time to rave about how I must have been his magical lucky charm. Oh Ryan- You have absolutely no idea.

The queen of Rosemont herself must have noticed our success, because I was personally invited by her to have a seat by her throne in the cafeteria; which was actually the seat on her right side at the popular table.

We blew kisses to one another and Emma introduced me to her minons as the leader of a cult would introduce a new follower. I picked out three brunettes, mentally bookmarking them for future investigations in Operation Poisoned Apple, as I had dubbed it.

Emma immedeatly quited them and turned to me, as if a dozen cheerleaders weren't staring intently on our every move,"I heard Ryan did an amazing job on the field yesterday," she giggled innocently, batting her eyelashes and twirling her hair in what was supposed to be an approachable and endearing mannerism but actually scared the shit out of me. I supposed that this was the part where I mirrored her movements and gushed about him, but she apparently wasn't done yet.

"You're new around here, but you'll blend in with a matter of a split second. How did you even get to know Ryan in the first place?"

I created a superficial response in no time, squealing with gusto before answering,"Yes, Ryan did an amazing job on the field, and being up front I got to have an especially good view of his sexy body. But let's be honest," I leaned forward, coaxing everyone to do the same,"your cheer routine was the real star of the show, and I think we can all agree on that. But such a great cheersquad has to have an even better captain," I gushed, recognizing the approval that glittered in Emma's evil eyes.

"To answer your question, yes, I am very new and just came here yesterday, but I already feel like this is home," I unbuttoned my letterman jacket to reveal a matching cheerleaders uniform, which recieved an estatic applause form the squad and a few catcalls from the jock table behind us,"and trust me, Ryan and I got to know eachother very quickly," I winked and blushed which was recieved very well by the other cheerleaders.

Emma smiled,"Well, to celebrate our big win- I'm holding a party tonight," she raised an eyebrow suggestively,"It'll be tons of fun. I'll see you there?"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world."
