"Luc! There you are," I called, jogging over to see her eating what looked to be the remains of a small child. She turned around before smiling and wiping the blood off around her mouth, saying in a cheery tone,
"Love the wardrobe change, chicken breast." I rolled my eyes and chuckled softly before asking,
"Thanks. Hey, y'know the nurse you attacked when we got out of the hospital, what happened when you attacked her?" Luc paused for a moment before saying,
"Oh, her, I dunno. She must've been a fast runner because when I lunged and at her she dodged and was gone by the time I turned to face her. I don't know where she is, sorry." I paused for a moment before frowning and muttering,
"It's fine." Was she a ghost? I don't get it. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Luc saying,
"Hey, I noticed that a lot of the crazies came running out of the asylum earlier, I'm guessing that was your doing." I nodded before smirking and saying,
"Yep, come on. This town needs to learn a new definition of fear." Luc smiled and grabbed my arm before running down to the town. We looked around before I noticed a very familiar road. I frowned and shook my head as we ran down the road and sure enough I saw a burned down house. Luc must've noticed my hesitance when it came to the building because she soon asked,
"Hey, you okay, red meat?" I paused before nodding and saying,
"That used to be my old house."
"It, looks nice, well what's left of it," she stated, scratching the back of her head as she heard me say,
"My family was murdered in it and I hated this house." She paused before giving a nervous laugh and saying,
"Oh." I rolled my eyes before saying,
"I'm going to check it out, be right back." She nodded, looking around before seeing a teenage boy cowering a little ways away before beginning to stalk him. I sighed and walked inside of the house, looking around as a grim feeling washed over me. I shook my head before walking up to my room and looking around before pausing as I noticed something on the floor. I moved aside some of the rubble to see, those fuckers. "I see those bastards never decided to give you a funeral, did they brother?" I growled at the small bones on the floor of my old room before picking the up and throwing them down the stairs as I muttered,"Good, you always were an annoying little brother who would always suck up to our slut of a mother." I turned around, looking through my things before seeing a familiar little top hat necklace. I placed it in my pocket before hearing a familiar voice let out an ear piercing scream. I jumped before running down and out of the house to see Luc squirming around in the creature from the asylum's arms on it's back. It stared at me for a moment before running off and down the street. I looked around before seeing footsteps in the ground and smirking as I muttered,"That thing isn't so smart, is it?"
