Music is the universal language. It has this power to be able to send a message and get a person to feel emotion even if they can't understand the words. You can hear it in the way the song is performed. Certain chords can give you different feelings. Certain notes just are so powerful it either lights you up or breaks your heart. But for those of us who can understand the words it gets deeper than that. A song can have a meaning that just hits you so close to home. Even if it brings back a memory you hate, you still love that song. Even if it makes you sad, you still love that song. I feel like music brings people together in the best way. For some people they love the people more than the music. You just love the music so much it causes you to have an obsession with the band or artist. It's a crazy thing. Music has made me who I am today. I sing, I play my instruments, I even dance if I have to... But it is such a big part of me. It made me a person and not just a lifeless blob. And I hope that everybody has something like that in their lives. Because nobody deserves to feel lifeless.
